The elven smuggler turns the ring around in his hands, inspecting it closely: "Thass' is aright... Could be you got it from a dustup wi'im, but then too much paranoia ain't good for yer health, an' where would we get without some truss in this world?... Anyway, I got the goods an' the barge ready, y'all know where yer goin?"

“Excellent points all around. Last I heard I was taking this stuff to a fellow with a red lantern over in Brampton and if there were anymore details you would have them.” I state very matter of factly holding out my hand for the earring.
"Right. Just leave the barge there once yer done, me boys will take care of it all. An' make sure the crates stay shut on the trip, any water get in there, the things're as good as ruined. Any Watch give ya trouble, ye deal with it, ain't none o' me boys hangin' fer ya. Ya make off wi' the goods on yer own, ye gonna get the whole city onto ya, so ya better don't screw Magnus 'ere." With that, he leads you down to the river, where a small and inconspicuous barge is waiting for you, with two large crates covered by a tarp in the front.

“Magnus mentioned bringing payment to a cave. If I’m leaving the barge in Brampton, how am I to get to the caves?” Looking a bit perplexed trying to iron out the details. After receiving an answer, I’ll set about getting ready to make way. Taking enough time that finehair leaves and Parker shows up to accompany me.
"Ahhh, good. He wouldn't've told ya that if ye got his rings in a fight... Sorry, but needed ta be sure to have the right person, ye understand... A'ight, so 'ere's the real deal. Get ta Brampton, one o' me boys'll be waitin' with a red lantern. He'll help ya unload the crates. I meant what I said about keepin' em closed, the stuff in there should nae get wet. Once the handover's dun, he'll guide ya to the right cave, Magnus or one o' his'll be waitin' there."
Parker, you notice that the two henchmen close by only now relax their postures.

“Simple enough. I’ll take the earrings back now. I told him I would return them to him and I intend to keep my word on that.” I’ll then get to work getting the barge ready to make way, waiting until finehair and the henchmen leave so that Parker can join me.
Finehair hands you the ring back, and lets you get on with work. As they turn away, Parker joins, and together, you quickly make the boat ready. The Chionthar in front of you is almost black in the sparing light of the setting sun, and you can see the fog banks rolling in. Looks like you'll be under the cover of darkness for your approach at least.

“That went better than I expected. With any luck the drop off will go just as smoothly. I’m curious what’s in the crates but I don’t want to draw attention to ourselves unnecessarily.” Pausing for a moment to inspect how the goods are secured in the barge. “What do you think?”
" He had two fellows as backup....which is to be expected but yes that part went smoothly." Looking at the crates " i wonder too seems a lot of effort for 2 boxes"
You secure the crates, cover them again with the tarp and some fishing nets to break the sharp edge of the outline, and then set off down the river, into the dark and the mist. A few hundred yards further down, and you are engulfed by the night, with the fog not only limiting visibility, but also muffling sound. You row for a while, until you start to make out the shining lanterns and lights of Borogorod shining through the fog. You're close, but so far you're unable to spot the red lantern you were told about.
I need a perception roll or an idea for how you will navigate your boat to the drop-off point. ---------------------
Neris, tying to get to the drop-off point in Brampton is proving a lot more difficult than originally thought. Because Torimesh, a dwarfen druid who had helped turn the city's refuse pile into what is nowadays known as Insight park, and several of his followers are unwilling to let the military governor take over the park for their own purposes, the entire area surrounding the park is filled with Watch and Fist. Most of the Watch seems like they've settled in for the long haul, as if they intended to put the protesters and the druid within the park under siege. After spending some time observing the guards nearby though, you guess you might be able to sneak through a cellar of one of the buildings close to the park, and so manage to get under the blockade.
I will need either a stealth roll to make your way to the other side of the barricades or a perception roll to maybe find another weak spot in the line

I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for the wall on the northern bank to help guide me to the shore line and then from there keeping my eyes open for a red lantern hidden amongst the docks.
Dart, you smell a whiff of charcoal and rotten eggs come from the crates, smelling awfully familiar. Parker, although you pick up on the same smell, you can't place it.
Despite the low visibility, you patiently row forwards, until eventually you see a dim red light shining forth from the northern bank. Approaching it, you can see that the light is mounted on a branch near the dilapidated eastern end of the outer wall, marking the perimeter of Insight park. As you get within twenty feet, you can make out two shapes in the dark, looking intently out at the boat on the water.
