Parker, you head down the narrow passage and find a burly dwarf holding a badly battered and bruised gnome in his arms. Do you say anything to him?

The guard is stunned by your move, and swallows hard: "Ai'ght, I yield. Not like I have a choice." Just in that moment though, you see the doors further up the stairs open: "...You alright down there Jakub? I heard some noise and decided to check it out!" It sounds like a single voice, and for now, they haven't figured out you're down here yet!
Murph, you're up and close to the unarmed guard. What do you want to do?

As murph quickly strikes at the guard with his pommel, the guard grunts in pain. Surprised that they are still standing, the Murph tries a second time, but the guard manages to block the incoming arm. Blood streaking down over their eyes from a large headwound left by the pommel, the guard looks very badly hurt, but with a grim determination in his eyes, after you've attacked him.
Perception: 21 vs 10
The sounds of the scuffle are enough for the guard on the steps to coming rushing down: "What the hell's going on?!" She's a bit surprised at seeing a full-on jailbreak under way, but quickly regains her composure, leveling her spear at Murph and lunging straight into an attack. Her spear finds its mark, and carves a bloody furrow along Murph's thigh.
Dart and then Parker, what do you want to do? Parker, you see the unfolding clustertrouble further up the hallway, but you are thirty feet away, in case you want to keep making your way out of here.

I turn to Murph, “Keep this one here.” Then advance towards the new guard, ducking out of the way of their spear, I plant my heel behind one of their feet and give them a good hard shove(I hope).

Seeing your maneuvre comingyour shove does little, and she nimbly moves back into a fighting stance. You count your blessings that she isn't shouting for backup.
The bloddied and bruised veteran meanwhile lunges straight for Murph, trying to get his hands around Murph's throat and starting to choke him out.
22 vs 18
His hands reach around Murph's throat, and he starts to squeeze: Murph, you take 7 damage, as you're being choked by the badly hurt guard, clearly fighting for his life in sheer survival mode. What do you do?

Murph's hand comes up, his whole body shaking, and casts sleep at a point behind the guard, hoping to get him and only him (plus Murph if necessary). For 14 hp. If he can use a bonus action to disengage to help this, he will.
Murph, as you loose your spell, both guards on the steps collapse, unconscious. Only a few moments later, Dagmar stands there with three seklettal figures behind him, bruises and cuts and long beards covering their faces and the glimpses of skin showing through the threadbare clothing.
"They's comin' wif. Now lessgo!"
What do you all want to do at this point?

"They will be asleep for another minute. They've seen our faces. Leaving them unharmed means none of us make it out. Knocking them out and tying them up means they wake up and can identify us. Death means they can't identify us and we have more time to get away. Death is the most certain, which is my vote. We have no time. Decide now. We also need another boat. Dagmar can we flag any down?"Murph says, patting down the guards gently and taking weapons and purses.
At the very least, he'd like to knock them unconscious -- would a coup de grace work on that front, one at a time?
Practically purring like a kitten, Blair feeds off of the crowds energy. Quite content from her 'perch', she'd flash sweet smiles, raise her mug in toast and give playful winks to admirers who'd seek a moment of her attention. Though green hues and dexterous fingers remained intent on tracing along 'her catch', ensuring they don't slip away too soon.
Blair lets out a little hum as she leans forward, "Didn't you have somewhere you needed to be?" She'd look up innocently through her lashes with a smile that showed a hint of her dimple. "How about a real escort?" She'd ask with a bit of a sultry tone. "You know I can provide excellent company." The redhead would remind. "In my care, you've never failed to arrive."
Standing quietly for a moment, internally debating the best course of action, I nod my head at Murph’s suggestion. “Killing the ones that have seen us seems the best course of action. Maybe we could make it look like the pair of guards that didn’t see us did it?”
Thinking better of trying to make it look like the guards fought each other. I move around to each of them and finish them off. Motioning to the rest of the group and freed prisoners. “Let’s dispose of them in the river.” (If there’s anything that can be used to weigh them down so they for sure sink and not float.that would be used.)
