After downing the last two beasts he looks around wildly for any other threats. When he sees none in the immediate area he calms down a bit. He slams his sword back in the scabbard and the readjusts his wrinkled clothing. "That was... not particularly fun. But it was like old times." He begins to fix his hair and continues, "By gods, how many times did we almost die back then?"
Jown Sno sheathes his sword and says, "I am a bit scratched but I do not require healing." He turns to Amathile and says in response, "We've been in more close calls to last a life time. I just hope we can kill the wendigo and put everything back to normal soon. I am getting too old for this and should really consider retiring."
Gandolph listens to the others talk of the Wendigo "I would like to deal with this Wendigo as much as any of the rest of you but it is my opinion that he will not be so easy to find. His power is clearly enough to cause great damage and there may be more dangers ahead. Let's make plans and see if it can be discovered."
Jown dusts himself off and approaches that treant and says, "Well... that was a rude interruption. Now where were we... If you know anything about what happened to our friend or where the wendigo is and how we can solve this problem, we would be very grateful if you tell us."
The treant's eyes narrow as a look of comprehension cause it to look over the group aknew. "The old ranger is at the lake." He says in a voice grown suddenly strong. "You must go to him. His mind is twisted, and has born forth a Night Lurker, a manifestation of a Kraken slain by Maximar in his glory days." he rakes his eyes over each of you. "Do not use mundane weapons against this creature, it will only be harmed by weapons with magic in them." Suddenly his eyes grow dim, dimmer than before and he seems to fall in on himself.
"One more thing..." He says in a voice barely above a whisper. "Please remove the bones from my form and give them a proper burial." He gives a raggid sigh. "If you do this I can remove any weariness, you have already gaine from this place, from you."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gandolph will help in any way he can as they search for the bones and work to give them a proper resting place. If applicable here is either a nature or a religion check to understand what is happening and how to find and take care of the 'bones' (both checks are +10 and Fred will give help): 25
prevalent plants, minerals, animals, or peoples powerful celestials, fey, fiends, elementals, or undead influence from other planes of existence
(Trying to locate the Wendigo, Maximar, and the night lurker)
You get a sense of your ranger mentor in the direction you know the lake is located, and get a sense of an evil there as well. The entire plane you are in pulses with the essence of the Wendigo so you are not able to pinpoint its location.
It is easy to determine the old Treant means the bones scattered around his form, many animals that died under his care. He clearly wishes them to be buried.
Once this is done a fresh wind blows through the clearing, and the treant falls in on himself, no more. You are all cured of any points of exhaustion you currently have.
After gathering the bones of the animals that died in the area and burying them, Gandolph will look at Qatyra "Lead the way, we will be in your debt. Let's find and help our friend"

Lot's of stuff ...
Gilra looks around, "Anyone still need healing?"
(Gilra is keeping his Antilife Shell active until it runs out - 1 hour)
"I could use some if you can spare it, " Six Coins says to Gilra.
Gilra points his Rod of Resurrection towards Six Coins and casts Heal from it.

Sorumar would bow, “We would be honored to assist you in such a fashion.” And start trying to figure out a way to start digging a little ways off.
Amathile will not be show that hes not really pleased with such menial tasks. He will task himself with removing the bone from the ent carefully.

What do you do next?
"I can lead us to him, we should get moving."
Sorumar will nod, “Agreed, we will try and lift this curse, old one, hang on just a little longer.”
"After you, let's go." Raist says.

Qatyra will lead the way, get camouflage in place to allow her to hide in plain sight.
