Eoni now transformed back into her usual form skips off in the general direction of the shops, looking to get some healing potions and potentially some new armour.
There’s some cursing and banging and a goblin comes running out of the storeroom ,carrying an assortment of pots and pans that are in need of repair, chased by the dwarf And don’t come back until you actually fix them you lazy git! The dwarf shouts at the goblin as it zips towards the forges. Sorry bout that. Soo I can switch out that chain mail your wearing for this set of splint mail. It doesn’t have the smouldering enchantment you’re favouring but it’s sturdier and comes with this Dread Helm for added intimidation factor. And for you miss I found this hide armour with what they call a gleaming enchantment on it which means that the fur stays clean and won’t start to smell. If you’re wanting to trade in what you are wearing now for these the total for both sets would be 250 gold
Diomedes heads to the local temple of Boldrei for a brief visit, then, the list of captured warforged in hand, catches a transport to High Wall to check up on them.
nnnng I suppose yer right but I can’t in good conscience give you the cloak of billowing as well. 200 and I’ll give you this regular cloak with a hood. It may be useful for those of you who are more roguish?
The dwarf spits in his hand and shakes. Sealing the deal. You hand over the coin and armours for the new ones, suiting up before meeting up with the others back at Clifftop
A few days later you’re called down to the meeting hall by Sergeant Rashoz. You descend into the hall and see him in the corner chatting to one of the guild artificers, a goblin called Boomer, a mound of equipment next to him on a table. Seeing you enter he waves you over, Boomer nodding and leaving. Good morning boots. I have a new assignment for you but before I give you the info on that I have some admin to get through.
He hands each of you a guild signet ring. This show your membership to the Clifftop Adventurers Guild. You now each hold the rank of Initiate, the better you perform on contracts the more likely you are to raise in rank. The higher rank you are the harder but more exciting the jobs. The more risk the better rewards and that’s what we are all here for right? Loot and boasting rights! Each of your rings has a minor enchantment that follow one of the first members of the guilds personality, Boomer selected what he thought was most appropriate for each of you having observed you for the last few days.
Rashoz turns to the table and picks up his briefing notes. Independant merchants have come to us asking for our assistance with a new upstart gang over in the Holdfast District. As you know this is mostly a dwarven district over in the Middle Northedge Ward. A gang calling themselves the Copper Fang Syndicate has been trying to start a protection racket in the district, any of the merchants who refuse get their shops overridden with giant rats and their stocks ruined. Later on today one of the merchants, Hutrer Leadheart, has to give his final answer to the Syndicates shake down team. We need you to intercept them before they smash up his store and try to locate the syndicates head quarters. None of the inquisitive agencies nor the local watch have heard of this organisation before so we estimate their numbers are small, hence the reliance upon rodentia to carry out their threats. The guild doesn’t like to take unnecessary chances so those of you unable to cast spells have been given these silvered weapons in case there are any skinshifters leading this group.
Well that’s the rub. Their profits have taken a nose dive so at the moment they are only able to offer 80 gold each and a 30% discount in the districts shopping area. Potentially the discount out weighs the gold depending on what you’re after. 500 gold off of a set of plate mail for instance isn’t something to be sniffed at. They also have some of the best enchanters and artificers in the city if you’re after something unique.
Holdfast is the heart of Sharn’s native dwarf population. The ancestors of the Holdfast dwarves helped build Sharn, and many of its people are stonemasons, architects, and smiths. Holdfast dwarves are proud of their Sharn roots and have little interest in Mror customs or traditions. It takes the best part of two hours to walk across the Dura ward and then down into Middle Northedge

Draskan makes his way towards the blacksmith, up one entering he approaches the vender
My good sir, I am in the market for better Armor. Whether that be improvements to my current or new. What can you offer me?
Eoni also heads for the blacksmith and smiles sweetly at the smith, I’d also like some armour, maybe something made of hide?
The dwarven blacksmith nods In greeting before eyeing Draskan and Eoni. Gimme a second while I have a look out back. Don’t touch nuffin.

Eoni flutters her eyelashes at the dwarf, resting her chin on her hands, How about 180?

The dwarf shakes his head Sorry lass I cannae go lower than 250. At best I could throw in this cloak of billowing.
Hmmm given that you will be getting this smouldering armour in return, surely 200 will be sufficient

Eoni plays with her new signet ring, barely paying any notice to what’s being said, Ok sure and how much they offering to pay?

What are we waiting for? What’s the name of the shop being targeted?
