The whole spectacle is just too much for Belmarm. He watched from afar taking down notes like a madman and refrained from interrupting things. Although if he notices Adella looking at him, he gives her a playful wink before going back to recording things.

Bron lets out a loud belch and grabs at the coins again, only to miss once more as he is clearly unbalanced from both the alcohol and the impact of his face with the ground. "Leave the money in his tent and take what you want. This fool won't even notice." Says a middle aged woman that moves to drag Bron to one of the many tents.
Adella had been somewhat paying attention to Belmarm bit quickly goes back to the book when he winks toward her.
One of them points to an open spot where no tent had been set up. " You can rest there."
As she gets to the tent she drops the drunk on a bedroom and motions for those that followed her to look around. All the same she does stick around the entrance of the tent to make sure nothing else is taken.
Ismark and Ireena move to help set up the camp as well, Ismark seeming to be of more help as he goes about it
Those searching the tent quicky find the object as it does not fit with the rest of the items in the room which are mostly trinkets and baubles that are cheaply made or ruined from years of neglect.
As they set up camp, Errol asks to see the holy item. Clearing a small section on the ground, he starts scribing some symbols on the ground and pulls out a small pearl. Focusing on the holy item, Errol performs the Identify ritual over the next few minutes.

(To Scott: I finally get what you were angling at before about Belmarm being more suited for combat. I kept getting your character mixed up wiht Nadriel's as being the group's paladin, lol.)
Unless Adella eventually worked up the nerve to investigate Belmarm's earlier claims, the shadar-kai inevitable joins the group's little camping area to rest for the evening. He suggests they still take watches with him on the first one. But knowing they possessed such an item at hand, even if not useable by all (if any), is cause enough for cheer from elf before the group finds their rest.

Finishing his ritual, Errol puts away the pearl and gives a low whistle. "Nadariel," he says, "That may be the best gold you have ever spent. This is a holy item of wondrous power, and it can only be used by one of holy dedication, such as yourself." Errol hands the symbol over to the paladin reverently, then heads off to help finish setting up the camp.
OOC: Feel free to read the item information, Nadariel, as Errol will explain whatever you want to know before he leaves.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once the camp is set, Nadariel hangs the Holly Symbol around his neck hiding it under his cloths and he will pray for an hour while concentrating on it.
As you attune to the item you feel a faint connection with whatever entity is linked to it. You are not sure which god it is linked to but you do feel a warmth through it.
Settling down for the night, Errol volunteers for first watch as he gets a feel for the camp in the evening, taking note of the precautions they use to be prepared in this dangerous land. Speaking quietly with Ismark in the later evening, he asks, "How far is it to Vallaki from here? Do you have any special precautions you take overnight while traveling? I know Ireena is a target, so we should keep her well-guarded and hidden if possible."

Ismark and Ireena nod as they move off to bed as well.
