Norge nods at Jakob, "You're probably right. It wouldn't hurt to talk to at least one more person. The next one on the list is Bog, a Kobold sanitation worker." Checking to making sure Oscar isn't paying attention Norge adds in a soft voice, "Since she's a sanitation worker she may know a bit about the sewers and what may be going on with the fish at the end of the pipe." Adjusting his voice to a normal volume he adds, "Lets head in Bog's direction. Oscar, please keep the boat on standby for us. We have another stop to make and then we'll be back."
"If ya need anything else... come get me.. I don't know how long this infestation takes to run its course... but uhh.. I don't think I want to find out." The minotaur would say with a wave of his hand as a few spores drift down the the ground.

Bey listens with keen interest as Mucor relays his observations about the plague and describes his intended method for finding a cure. “Yes, Mucor, we will commit to finding these ingredients. Thank you for providing us with this information, it’s by far the best lead we have found so far. Please be well until we return... hopefully this task will no take too long.”
Turning to Azure, she says, “Come Azure, we should go find the others and tell them what we have learned.”
(OOC: Does Bey have any knowledge about the location and/or distance between Darkwater and three places?)
Mith would know Bog pretty well since she is one of the oldest kobolds living in Darkwater. She isn't afraid to explore some of the more hazardous tunnels beneath the town and is normally very good at collecting the best scrap that many other kobolds might not be brave enough to go after. She isn't the leader of the kobolds that live beneath the town exactly but most of them look up to her and the Mayor has come to her directly on occasions where he needed work done beneath the town.
Bey would know of a number of entrances into the sewers beneath town. it is common knowledge that the majority of the kobold population lives down there in a small colony known as "The Falls" due to the sound of falling and running water that is almost always echoing through the tunnels. Skull Stone is also fairly well known... It is a very large boulder that could be seen from the waters edge withing DarkWater if there weren't so many trees and reeds and other swamp features obscuring it from the town. You would know the direction of it so as long as you can go relatively straight.. you could get there in an hour or two. As for the moon glow forest... it surrounds all of Darkwater and is huge. There are only a few roads leading out of Darkwater that pass through it and if taking a road it still takes nearly a day of travel before you reach the edge of the forest. IF you are looking to start searching the forest, you could literally spin in a circle and start heading in any direction. The entire Skull Stone swamp is contained within the forest.
"Ya I knows Bog. She knows the sewers better than most. She'll probably know these spots where they meet the water too. Doesn't surprise me that she got sick if she's going to those places. Let's go find her."
"Yes, let's find them quickly." Azure responds to Bey before asking. "They had to visit Oscar, Bog and my mom. They'll probably save her for last since she's close to town. Do you think they're at Oscar's or with Bog?"
Mith begins to lead Norge and Jakob back towards town as he heads towards the main entrance to the sewers. After they are far enough away from the sunken Fish and Ships shack, Jakob places the bag of occasionally flopping fish on the ground near the road. As he casts his spell, the damp bag erupts into flame. it doesn't take long for the bag to burn away revealing the fish inside. Although it is hard to see through the roaring flames, you think you see the carp and at least one of the catfish flipping and flopping in the center of the inferno for a surprising amount of time.. even as their eyes boil and burst and the scales blacken. Black smoke billows into the air as the spell destroys the fish and incinerates everything except for a few charred fish bones. As they continue on their way, they make their way into the center of town and stop in front of an unassuming building. It is a simple stone shack that shares a wall with the towns City Watch building where Azure would normally report to work each day. There is a small wooden sign swinging back and forth in the breeze above the door that simply says. "Dark Water Sewer Access.." painted in white letters with the words "The Falls" crudely carved below it. There is a heavy wooden door that has two metal rings attached to it on each side set at different heights. One ring is at a normal height for a human wanting to open the door with the other ring set much lower, which seems to be the perfect height for kobolds as Mith as he approaches. The heavy wooden door moves easily as it is well maintained and used often. The doors main purpose is to contain any foul oaders that might try to creep up from the sewers below. When opening the door you see a simple stone stairwell heading strait down and the flickering of torchlight. A Musty earthy smell hits you almost immediately once the door is opened.
Just as Mith, Jakob, and Norge arrive in the center of town from the north and approach the sewer entrance, Azure and Bey make their way back into town from the South. The streets are busier with townsolk and black hat wearing workers moving through the streets. Azure and Bey spot their companions preparing to enter the sewer system.
Jakob turns at Azure's voice and smiles as the guard approaches. "We went by Oscar's and may have a lead. While he assured us he isn't sick, he did admit to changing his fishing spot lately, and some of the fish he had for sale seemed suspicious. We purchased what fish he had and burned them, and Mith knows the fishing spot, so we rented one of Oscar's boats to head that way to check it out. We didn't want to go without you, so we decided to head down to the sewers to speak with Bog in the meantime."
Rejoining the group, Beyanna says, "we have just come from the apothecary, and speaking with Mucor has given us some good information as well. He says that the day before he started seeing symptoms, he was out exploring on the Old North Road, out by the Moon Light Mansion. He too saw a horrid diseased deer, much like the beasts we encounter last evening."
"In addition, Mucor is working on a cure, and he gave us the names of three different types of fungi that exhibit similar characteristics that are seen with those who are infected with the plague. He thinks that he can acquire samples of each of these ingredients, he might be able to brew a concoction that can treat the disease, and maybe even cure it."
"We agreed to go seek these three samples, one of which is a slime mold called the Glowing Goo that grows in the sewers. So, it is a serendipitous event that we found you here. Let us head down there and try to kill these two birds with a single stone. If we are able to recover a sample of this Glowing Goo, then we can move towards searching for the other two items."
"We also discovered that Mith will eat pretty much anything." Norge says as he looks at his friend and chuckles. "Seriously, Jakob practically had to yank the stank fish out of his hands so that he could burn them. He's probably lucky he didn't lose a finger!"
"Well, since we're all here and ready, let's proceed. Down we go, right gents? Norge, you in front, of course," Bey says as she gives him a gentle nudge on the small of his back.
Norge wasn't worried about going into the sewers at first but seeing Azure draw his shield makes him a little nervous. "Ok I'll go first. Just remember, dealing and receiving blunt trauma to the head is my specialty but if I happen to get flung into the air like a rag doll... you know, again, that's your sign to duck and cover." He puffs up his chest a little to act like he isn't afraid, draws his own shield, and heads down the stairs.
As you make your way down the stone spiral staircase, The flickering light glows brighter as the smell of the earthy stagnant smell of the sewer crowns stronger. it doesnt take long for the group to decend the fifty foot staircase, and once they reach the bottom they encounter another heavy wooden door with a set of torches on either side. the door is identical to the one at the entrence to the sewer with another set of handles at different heights. Standing behind the door you can hear a number of muffled sounds coming from the other side and the smell is even stronger. As you open the door, You ears are immediatly filled with the sounds of splashing water and draconic speak as a large number of kobolds move casually along side a large open tunnel. looking to you left and then to your right, this large tunnel seems to run as far as you can see with occasional torches granting some dim light throughout the area. Stinking water with bits of food and waste flow through the bottom of the large tunnel to a depth of about 5 feet. The top of the tunnel is about ten feet above the current water level and is about fifteen ft wide in total. This is the main sewer tunnel that all the other smaller pipes dump into. There are wooden walkways that look like docks with large barrels under them lining both sides of the stinking tunnel. The barrels allow the walkways to rise and lower with the water levels. In the crowded tunnel you see holes tland small burrows that the kobolds duck into and emerge from constantly. these tunnels lead to the kobolds homes or storage rooms or any other number of potential locations. A few of the larger small rooms have kobolds selling fish and various meats while others show off collections of trinkets recovered from the sewers and reclaimed above ground in town. Some kobolds are fishing in the sewer water while others and tossing in nets and pulling out garbage and looking for scrap. It is a very busy place in the The Falls, and it is essentially a small city within the city of darkwater

Jakob turns to Mith. "Do you happen to know this kobold named Bog?"
OOC: Mith, look below

Mith answers.
Jakob will follow the kobold. As soon as they are out of sight of Oscar's, the old human will burn the fish using create bonfire.
"Yes, let's find them quickly." Azure responds to Bey before asking. "They had to visit Oscar, Bog and my mom. They'll probably save her for last since she's close to town. Do you think they're at Oscar's or with Bog?"

Ho hum, in walks Jakob, Mith and Norge. Will anyone stop them? Only time will tell. :)
"Wait up." Azure shouts shifting into a jog to catch up with his friends. "What all have you discovered so far?" he asks
Jakob turns at Azure's voice and smiles as the guard approaches. "We went by Oscar's and may have a lead. Jakob slaps Mith on the back of the shoulder and laughs. "After you, my friend," he says to the kobold. He then draws out his rag and wipes his nose.
"Well, since we're all here and ready, let's proceed. Down we go, right gents? Norge, you in front, of course," Bey says as she gives him a gentle nudge on the small of his back.
Azure would follow closely behind Norge and draw his shield but not his mace.
Norge wasn't worried about going into the sewers at first but seeing Azure draw his shield makes him a little nervous. "Ok I'll go first.
