Heilamin will cast a second 3rd level Thunderwave to get the most cultists (2, 7, 8, and 6?). As a bonus action, he will cast Healing Word on himself (7).
Likewise, the next time a cultist goes to attack Heilamin, he will use Bardic Inspiration as a Reaction, and call out insults against that cultist remarking on his general lack of good looks and pro-social behavior -- thereby subtracting 8 from that attack roll.
The attacks against the paladin do not penetrate his magical barrier and with the party fully engaged by the cultists, Mackenzie just attacks, targetting cultist 2 (in a effort to reduce the risk to Heilamin) and then the next closest to Heilamin (cultist 5) even if it provokes an opportunity attack from cultist 8 as he moves to the square to the right of him.
It always started the same. A glimpse of a rainbow-hued pinion, a gracefully scaled neck, a gold crown framing kind but otherworldly eyes. The dream showed the majestic creatures in snippets, never all at once, and never with any kind of background, but every time he saw them in his dreams, they seemed…sadder, smaller, weaker somehow. The dreams started 10 years ago, just after he finished his training as an acolyte of the Bronze Dragon, and he had wandered the realms looking for answers ever since.
And so it was that Ikko had come to the Monastery of the Glass Hand ten days ago. Ten days of silent meditation in the garden, eyes closed, listening to the gentle wind, rustling flower petals, and gently burbling fountain. Now on the tenth day, his meditation finally bore fruit. Seeing the majesty of the entire creature nearly brought him to tears with their deific radiance. Still, they seemed dimmed, stretched somehow.
Suddenly behind the pair of beings came into focus a shimmering field of pure magical energy. It was stretched—much like the angelic beings—and something dark and sinister pressed against the barrier. Ikko was gripped with fear of the unknown evil and he locked eyes with the pure holiness of the angelic duo. That was when the barrier stretched beyond its capacity, spilling the darkness over the angels and destroying them utterly. The icy grip of death flowed over him as the darkness filled the land, snuffing out an entire world’s worth of warmth and life, leaving only emptiness and a hollow laughter.
The echoing laughter lapsed into a clashing of blades and Ikko suddenly snapped out of his trance. The Monastery was under attack! Leaping to his feet using the leverage of his crackling staff, the mystic ascetic rushes towards the sound of battle!

Heilamin's Cutting Words reaction decreased the first attack from Cultist one such that it missed, the second one hits. Heilamin will cast Dissonant Whispers at 3rd Level on Cultist 1. (The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save (DC 15), it takes 5d6 (14) psychic damage and must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and doesn’t have to move away.)
As a Bonus Action he will cast Healing Word (1st Level) (1d4+4) -- anyone need this (Heilamin is at half hit points)? Otherwise he will cast it on himself. (Heal: 5)
Renee strikes down Cultist 3...the only cultist to remain is Cultist 1 with 4 HP left. Brazzak, finish them off!
Ikko, from inside of the temple you were awaken from your vision by the sounds of a battle happening in the temple grounds. You are getting ready to round the corner to the temple entrance. The woman monk who you have briefly met is standing in the doorway. Ikko will round the corner after Brazzak's action.
Once Ikko rounds the counter and is met by four adventurers, covered in blood (both of theirs and these cloaked figures). A monk, who first greeted you when you arrived at the monestary, is face down on the ground in a pool of blood. The bodies of 10 cultists, and a blasted body of some sort of humanoid creature all lay on the ground, slashed and bloodied. Everyone's weapons are drawn after the battle with these cultists.
