Heilamin, you're up! You are positioned where you're within 5 feet of Grovalder, but he has used a reaction for opportunity attack on Modron. After that we begin round 2.
Round 2 - Initiative Order Renee, within 15 of Cloak 3 Brazzak, within 10 feet of Cloak 3 Mackenzie, within 5 feet of cloak 3. Cloak 3, engaged with Mackenzie Grovalder, 5 feet away from Heilamin (current position). 10 feet away from Brazzak. 15 feet away from Mackenzie. 20 feet from Renee and Modron. Seeing the Ape fall, Renee swears under her breath. Taking out her rapier and a dagger she moves in to attack Cloak 3. First with her rapier then as her bonus with her dagger.
After slicing down two of the Cloaks, Mackenzie looks for other combatants and on seeing Grovalder he charges the ungodly beast, dropping his shield and battleaxe pull out his Halberd as he closes the distance, intent on destroying the abomination.
Mackenzie will direct his attacks at Grovalder, taking the Opportunity Attack from Cloak 3 as he rushes forward...
Attack 1 using Great Weapon Master, -5 penalty, +10 damage
Attack17 Damage if(Unable to parse dice roll.,19) (oops Att should be +7, add one to attack roll)
and choose to add Smite Damage (L1 spell slot) if the above hits, adding: 10 to the damage as a blast of radiant energy is unleashed with the strike, for a total of 29 damage
Attack 2 using GWM, -5, +10
Attack: 17 Damage: 19(oops Att should be +7, add one to attack roll)
and then takes his Bonus Action with Polearm Master to strike a third time if Grovalder is still standing
Attack: 16 Damage: 5
or if Grovalder goes down his takes GWM feat to make another melee attack against Cloak 4, same attack roll but would do 7 instead
Renee you cleave into the last cloak and take them down with ease. Last standing is the werejaguar, ready to pounce!
Brazzak swings his greatsword at the werejaguar twice, but only manages one hit for 14 damage.
Mackenzie, you drop your shield and battleaxe and wield your massive halberd. You make three devastating attacks on the werejaguar with a blast of radiant energy bursting from the tip of your blade. The werejaguar is slashed open in several places on their body...but they are still standing, barely!
Cloak 3 is dead, it is the werejaguar's turn. Their eyes turn a bright amber with fury as they are almost taken down by this group of people. Furious, they pounce up in the air and land right on top of Mackenzie, biting and clawing at them. Mackenzie makes a strength saving throw DC 14 or be knocked prone: 18
Bite: 19 Damage: 8 Claw: 21 Damage: 5 Claw: 23 Damage: 8 Second bite from being knocked prone: Attack: 21 Damage: 12
Mackenzie is now prone.
Modron keeps concentration on sickening radiance. CON save for werejaguar: 7
The sickening light is too much for the werejaguar to bare. It roars one last time before falling to the ground, dead.
Combat is over!
As you all begin to put weapons away, the werejagar begins to change slowly back to a human form. But you notice, this man does not look like Grovalder. It is a different man. This man has the same elaborate tattoo on his back like the cloaks at the Swordsmen did, but doesn't have the yellowed teeth or wrinkled skin. He is in prime condition.
Heilamin loots the bodies of the cloaks and "Grovalder". "I'm guessing that all is not well at Mr. Diamond's place either. Way to look out, Modron. I should have been more careful."
Mackenzie slowly gets to his feet as the creature succumbs to the magic, holding his palm to he claw & bite wounds for a few seconds (Lay on Hands for 12 HP recovery) before noting "They are indeed strong," and then to Renee he remarks "you were right to leave the campsite and seek aid" before turning to the group of heroes "Apologies for not announcing ourselves, I am Mackenzie, and this is Renee, we were tailing these cultists and could not stand idly by. There are others of their kind about," and having noted Modron mention Mr Diamond, continues "they too mentioned something about a Diamond so I fear your concerns are indeed correct and best be on guard, for two of their number may still be in the marketplace or beyond. Perhaps we have a common goal.... ..." Mackenzie trails off, inviting one or more of the group to speak but adding as an afterthought "MIght anyone else be hurt and need some assistance" nodding to Modron in particular who also got hit by the werejaguar.
OOC: Mackenzie will look at each of the four to see if they account for all four of the cult members they were following,
OOC: Modron let me know if you wish to be healed and for how much
On the cloaked figures, a total of 25GP. The one who disguised as a women who entered second to last dropped the book at their feet. A small splatter of blood is on the cover, but you can now read it as "Elsath's Floura and Fauna". The inside cover has a hand written note: Property of the Diamond Library. It is signed with the "John Hancock" signature of Arrow Diamond.
On the jaguar man, you see a silver ring on the man's finger. This is no ordinary ring, so you may either spend part of a long rest examining the ring or use Identify to determine what it is.
Lastly on the jaguar man is a "hand drawn" (I can't draw so it's a screenshot) map. The script shows a map of the Desolation of Ditimaya and the Obsidian Plain. A "X" marks a spot in the Obsidian Plain with a script that reads "Well of Secrets". You all know that the Desolation of Ditimaya is about 1000 miles south of Knotside. You've heard of the town of Ugash, which is a nomad town outside of the Desolation and is the last known settlement before entering the brutal desert.

Renee wipes her daggers on the Cloak of Cloak 3, cleaning them before she sheathes them. She gives everyone a bow. "Aye, good ta meet ya, and ya coin purses." She shoots them a wink then turns to McKMackenzie, holding up her hands. "Just kidding." More seriously she adds, "They're like rats scurrying everywhere, and ruining your whole day. Call themselves Smoking Mirror. Piss poor name if you ask me."

"Heilamin, pleasure's all mine. I'm skilled with the lute and the rapier. I'm somewhat of a charmer. Yourselves? What do they call you? That was some good work you did with that beast." Heilamin flashes a smoldering smile.
"I'm Renee, the fun one and that's Mackenzie," Renee says, jutting her thump towards Mackenzie. In a loud whisper, she says, "He can be a bit of a stick in the mud, but he's a good guy?"

Modron nods to Renee and Mackenzie. "We are most grateful for your help. We are in deep trying to understand what has happened to the crew of this establishment. As Heilamin says, we will probably need to visit the home of Mr Diamond to understand what has happened. There is something very wrong going on and we mean to stop it."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Choosing to overlook Renee's sarcasm with just the faintest of eye rolls, Mackenzie responds in agreement with Modron "Indeed, there is much to uncover. You are the mage slaying heroes who are being celebrated, and now you are the target of the cult of the Smoking Mirror, is there some connection.....how did they know you would visit this store, and what of the owner?" Figuring he can seek the answer to one of those questions, he continues "He may be in need of aid....I must see what has befallen him before departing" and with that Mackenzie (and others he would hope) take a minute or two to search the store and check any other rooms that the store might have in search of the owner. Perception14 (if needed)
Mackenzie and the rest of you search the remainder of the tiny shop. There are no back rooms, an overwhelming amount of books and trinkets and the counter "Grovalder" was standing behind. The shop looks to be in order. Nothing seems to be missing from shelves that you can tell. If there was a ledger, it seems to be missing. There is a pouch of 250GP behind the counter. Mackenzie you do not notice any blood stains or a sign of a struggle here.
