!!Lost Mine of Phandelver Campaign Thread!!

Alright!  The hits are really starting to land! Umbriel scores a solid hit against RB7, who's looking pretty hurt now.  Ireniana takes out RB5 in one blow!

Whistler strikes at RB7.

Attack: 7 Damage: 13

Oh no!  That giant sword must be getting heavy for the little Kenku; the blow hits his target, but there is no power behind it.

Lyngheid charged at the man she could see clearest ( RB8), swinging her mace, " I am so sick of being stabbed!"

Attack: 4 Damage: 5

Lyngheid charges RB8, mace high.  She brings it down on his head, doing a good bit of damage.

Spider-Baeshra tries to sink its fangs into RB8: 12, but misses, chipping a tooth on the stone stairway.

Rosie dashes around and climbs the southern stairs just a bit so she can get a clean shot at RB7: 12.  The high ground works as the bolt sails over Ireniana's head and sinks into the Redbrand for 8 piercing damage.  RB7 drops to the floor, dead.

RB8 doesn't seem to notice that all his friends are dead, as the giant spider in front of him seems to have his undivided attention.  He attacks twice: 6, 6.  Both sword strikes sink into spider flesh, doing 6 and 3 piercing damage.

Just then, three more Redbrands pour through the secret door and charge the party.

RB9 runs right into the fray and launches two attacks at Rosie: 19, 11.  Both strikes bounce off her new Glamour Studded Leather armor, doing no damage.

RB11 follows close behind and swings at Ireniana: 10, laughably missing, and tries to hit the wood elf again: 20.  This one actually comes close, but doesn't do any damage.

RB12 is next and stabs at Whistler: 22.  The sword pierces into the Kenku, doing 7 damage.  RB12 tries again at Whistler: 7, but misses with his second attack.

Summary:
- 12 piercing damage to Spider-Baeshra.
- 5 piercing damage to Whistler.

Idly musing about the whereabouts of their goblin 'helper,' Umbriel will fire off an Eldritch Blast at the newcomers, specifically RB12. Attack: 13 Damage: 4

Baeshra will move along the wall fo flank RB8 and try to finish him off.

Attack: 17 Damage: 10+10Poison, Dc11 con save for half.

Whistler feeling the sting of steel, swings with all his little Kenku might into RB9.

Flank: Attack: 15 Damage: 8

OOC: Ignore Flank. I was mistaken. ;(

Lyngheid smashed her mace towards a kneecap...

Attack: 7 Damage: 6

Ireniana is going to swing her sword at RB 11.

Attack: 14 Damage: 7

Ireniana's Longsword cuts deep into RB11, doing some serious damage.

Lyngheid swings her mace hard, but the weapon whizzes past the kneecaps!

Umbriel must be a little distracted, as his Eldritch Blast goes wide!

Whistler connects with RB9, doing 9 damage!

Spider-Baeshra maneuvers into position and finishes off RB8 with poison!  RB8 falls to the ground Unconscious.

Rosie drops her crossbow, grabs her quarterstaff with both hands and swings hard at RB9: 6.  IT hits! Doing 8 damage.

 RB11 screams in anger, steps towards Rosie and takes two attacks: 19, 12.  The first hits, doing 4 damage.

RB12 moves in and takes a swipe at Ireniana 16 and Whistler: 8.  The first against IReniana hits, doing 3 damage.

Summary:
- 5 damage to Rosie
- 4 damage to Ireniana

Refocusing, Umbriel sends another Eldritch Blast at RB12: Attack: 14 Damage: 8

Lyngheid moved next to Rosie and took another swing ( RB11), " Why are they still fighting, they're hopelessly outnumbered?"

Attack: 22 Damage: 3

Ireniana is going to attack RB12

Attack: 7 Damage: 8

Baeshra/Spider will climb up onto the ceiling (north of Ireniana) and spit webs at RB12, if he's dead RB11.

20 Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).

Ireniana swings wildly at RB12, but misses!

Lyngheid takes a chunk out of RB11, he is looking pretty wounded now.

Umbriel scores a hit on RB12!

Baeshra casts a web around RB12. RB12 is now Restrained (Attacks against him have advantage!)

Whistler attacks RB12: 14 and he hits with authority!  20 slashing damage is enough to finish the job.

That leaves RB11, and Rosie takes another two-handed swipe at him with her quarterstaff: 15.  She connects, doing 8 damage and the Redbrand collapses!

 We are out of initiative, there is an unconscious Redbrand on the stairs to the north, bodies all over, a deep cistern, barrels and crates, a door to the north and a door to the west, and the last place you saw Droop was in the hallway through the secret door.

Also, that mad rush of Redbrands was enough to bring everyone to Level 3!  Congratulations!

Umbriel will look around and make sure his party is all conscious, ready to cast Spare the Dying if necessary. Seeing that everyone is alive, he'll go fetch Droop and bring him into the room with everyone. 

Lynched impulsively hugged Rosie and took a while before she let go with an apologetic shrug...

Dropping the spider form, Baeshra will hop in the pool and clean himself off.
