After the last two stores are dead, Umbriel looks around at the cave. "Lyngheid, does either direction look more likely to you? I can't be sure, but the path to the north looks more finished. Is any of that stonework Dwarven?"
" Lets have a look then.", she said shaking dead blood-sucker off her hammer.
Droop takes a shot at one of the remaining Stirges: 16 and skewers it!
With all of the Stirges gone, you look around some more. Lyngheid realizes that the stonework is definitely Dwarven. The cavern they are in is natural, but the way south and both ways north are dwarven made tunnels. The one to the east looks natural.
Baeshra munches on Stirge, and they taste like a Mosquito and a bat. The Owblear enjoys the ones he can find.
The way south looks like it leads to a cave-in, with two doors on either side.
Sticking to the shadows as best she can, Nyx silently heads south to get a better look at the doors. As she she goes she keep careful attention to the area around her, making sure she is not going to set off another trap.
OCC:
Are doors on both sides or is a door on the west side and the east side is a passageway? If so, Nyx will peak her head around and look down the passageway.
Here is where I have everyone. Your passive Perception doesn't pick up any traps or noises. And a quick check of the doors shows that they are not locked.
OOC:
Sorry all, I'll be out of service until tonight again.

"I think at least one of us should carry a torch. Well away from me but I work my best being quiet off ahead or behind the group. We all can't see in the dark and it is foolish to go stumbling around here without some light."
Nyx quickly checks both doors, listening for any sound behind them as well as making sure they are not trapped.
This chamber was once an office or storeroom of some kind. A large stone counter bisects the room, set with three dusty balance scales made of iron. Cubbyholes carved into the north wall are stuffed with dusty paper scraps. Several long-dead corpses—gnomes and orcs by their look—are sprawled across the floor.

Umbriel would like to look around a bit if there's time. He'd like to examine the bodies, both to try and figure out how long they've been there, and to see if they have anything unusually shiny or intriguing on them. Investigation: 15
From your Investigation check you can tell that the bodies are mostly skeletons, they've been done for centuries. The paper in the cubbyholes disintegrates when you touch it, but the writing looks Dwarvish.
Spoiler for those who can read Dwarvish:
You can see faint markings on a few of the scraps of paper, it looks like they are recording weigh-ins and disbursements.
Since IAmButADream is on the night side of the world, we can use the magic of PBP to resolve the chest and the rest of this room later. Does anyone want to open the door to the room to the west?
Once the stirges are dead, Baeshra will try eating one for flavour and offer a couple to the owlbear to do the same.
" Lets have a look then.", she said shaking dead blood-sucker off her hammer.

Stealth 27
Do I just roll perception to notice traps or does a rogue add my tools into it as well?

Rosie quietly asks the group, "Do we want some light? It sure did come in handy last time."

You don't detect any traps or hear anything from behind either door.
Lyngheid pushed her door open carefully.

Behind the counter is locked iron strongbox.
Lyngheid flicked through the papers then headed over to check the strongbox.
" Check the bodies for a key....its gonna get noisy if I try to break this open."
Baeshra will, as gently as a dinosaur can, nudge Nyx snd gesture at the box.
You don't find any keys on the remains.

Baeshra would, but he has no hands, so he'll just scratch at it and look at the others.
