Umbriel Initiative: 6
On his turn, seeing that the bugbear has left melee range of the drow, Umbriel will grin and mouth the words "Watch this -" to those of his companions that can see in the dark, and cast Crown of Madness (DC 14 Wis save) on B2, making him strike B3.
On her turn Lyngheid will drop her Spiritual Weapon onto the drow, and nod to Rosie to do the same. She then whispered a prayer over Rosie, Nyx and Baeshra.

OK! The Drow seems to look up right before Umbriel casts his spell.
BB2 Wis Save: 5
BB2 stiffens slightly then turns to BB3 and swings the pickaxe he was using to dig in the rubble: Attack: 22 The pickaxe crashes into BB3, but the crude armor seems to block most of the blow.
BB3 snarls at BB2 and tries to backhand him: 5, it's fist bounces off of BB2's chin, and the two Bugbears prepare to brawl. BB1 doesn't notice anything amiss yet. The Drow looks over towards the group just as Lyngheid's Spiritual Weapon smashes into it. BB1 definitely notices this. He uses his turn to look around and spots the party across the rift, then shouts down to the other two Bugbears pointing at you.
Rosie whispers to Lyngheid: "I can't see anything! Should I light it up down there?"
And then, hearing the shouts and fighting commotion she'll cast [spell]Light[spell] on a rock and throw it towards the sound of the fighting: Dex throw: 16, the rock lands right in between the two fighting bugbears and everyone can now see them. Those without Darkvision still can't see BB1 and the Drow.
We'll go quasi-initiative here, to give the rest of the party a chance to do something on this first round.
No need for Stealth rolls, Whistler & Owlbear, the party has been spotted.
Droop Initiative: 10 Rosie Initiative: 11
Drow and Bugbears Initiative: 13,
Round 1 (Surprise Round for the party): Lyngheid: 17 Umbriel: 16 Drow and Bugbears: 13 Rosie: 11 Droop: 10 Nyx: 8 Whistler & Owlbear: Baeshra: Ireniana:
Droop follows Lyngheid's lead and sends a shot at the Drow: 25, and the arrow sails over the rift and pierces into the Drow's chest for 11 damage. (6 damage before I screwed up the roll.)
The rest of the party roll Initiative and take your first round turns.

B1 Dex Save: 5 B2 Dex Save: 21 B3 Dex Save: 4
Ireniana's arrow flies right into the Drow, hitting next to Droop's shot. Baeshra gets the Faerie Fire going then climbs the ceiling as a giant spider (The green background Giant Spider that is blessed and concentrating).
(Umbriel would be snacking on popcorn if he had any)
Umbriel maintains concentration, and will make B2 take another swing with the pickaxe at his now glowing friend. As a bonus action, he'll use the Blessing of the Raven Queen to teleport 30 feet directly across the ravine (gaining resistance to all damage for the turn in the process). No sense in bunching up if it can be avoided.
Ireniana lands another arrow on the Drow, with a practically identical shot!
Umbriel pulls the strings of his Crown of Madness and then vanishes from in front of the party only to appear on the other side of the rift. From this vantage point he can see a little bit further into the gloom.
Waiting for Round 2 turns from: Whistler, Lyngheid and Baeshra.
I don't know that's only 50 rounds!
Droop Stealth: 17
Rosie Stealth: 7
Stealth:7
Initiative ( When Needed):17
The party sneaks through the old streambed with the taller folks having to crawl. Owlbear is not amused.
They line up on the edge of the 20' rift. The Bugbears and Drow are about how Umbriel described. Those without Darkvision cannot see, however.
What's the plan from here? Is everyone that can see targeting the same thing?
Nyx, Whistler, Owlbear still need Stealth rolls.

Baeshra initiative: 17
Baeshra will cast faerie fire on the three bugbears before shifting into dino-Baeshra and moving to the other side of the stream (9 over, 1 up).
The rift is 20 feet deep. Climbing up or down without using a rope requires an Athletics check, and distance-wise counts as difficult terrain.
There are a few ropes dangling on the western side that the bugbears have been using to get in and out.
Ireniana Initiative - 16
Ireniana will follow Droop's example and take a shot at the drow.
Attack: 24 Damage: 9
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Whistler Initiative: 13
Whistler will stand at the front and deflect any arrows coming their way. (If that is allowed?)
Whistler - Lost Mines of Phandelver [Lvl 8 Barbarian] | Cinta Yuliani Lestari - My Island Home [Lvl 3 Fighter] | Shalana - Allansia Wildlands [Lvl 4 Monk] | Roger Durant - Storm King's Thunder [Lvl 8 Monster Hunter] | Rotthran - The Waterdeep Heist [Lvl 5 Thief]
In that case, shift into spider and crawl up the ceiling.
Sure, you can use yourself as partial cover for someone else.
OK! As a giant spider, you also suffer no penalties for climbing down or up the rift with your spider climb deal.

Nyx points her crossbow at the bugbears and lets off a shot.
OCC: Round 1 action, crossbow at B3
Hand Crossbow Attack: 19 Damage: 5
Question, would it also be possible for Nyx to take her move to abseil down the rope and then bonus action hide?
