"Yes, this is outstanding," Umbriel says, as he examines the blade. He stores it in the cart for now, and he thanks the young man and woman. Turning to the others, he says "I think we'd do well to meet the master of this town, at least by way of introduction. We will need to find another pack animal, and I would like to spend one night in a decent room that doesn't have strange old women looking in at keyholes at me. We can stay as long as you like, of course, but we do have a banshee and a dragon to contend with at some point."
The party makes their way to the Market Square. It's at the center of Triboar, where the Long Road meets the Evermoor Way. It's a huge open space used as a market by local farmers and visiting peddlers. There are fresh fruits and vegetables and lots of handmade soaps and candles.
In the center of the Market square is a two story stone keep, with a definite lean to the east. Hanging above the entrance is a dusty banner with three blac kboars running toward the head of the banner on a blood-red field. Inside is the current Lord Protector of Triboar, Darathra Shendrel. She finishes talking to a well armed human male who nods and salutes her before leaving. Darathra turns to you. "Hello there, travelers. Welcome to Triboar, I'm Darathra Shendrel. I don't recognize you, have you been to Triboar before? What can I do for you today?"
Baeshra follows along to the keep and nods at the greeting, “No, have not been here before. Just dropped off supply run for Lionshield Coster. Did you know mad lady at edge of town has walking bones in her attics?”
"Caravan runs aye? Do you work for the Triboar Travelers?"
"Mad lady at the edge of town? No I did not. Are you referring to Tolmara Hysstryn of the Six Windows? I had to send The Twelve out to Merrymeadow Ranch, there's a rash of Orc attacks that they are dealing with. When The Twelve returns we'll go have a chat with Tolmara about these walking bones."
"We had a run in with some Orcs a day or so back along the trail, actually - a chieftain, several spellcasters, and a large number of regular grunts - all of them looked like they had been in a scrape, though we never found out with whom. We were hired by the Lionshield Coster in Phandalin to escort a shipment here, and we have a few other things to take care of in the vicinity, but perhaps you can tell us if there's been any increase in the number of giants active in the area? Not to cause any alarm, of course - we have no reason to believe that there would be, but any unusual behavior would merit further investigation, I think."

She shivers a little bit before replying. "An Orc chieftan, we haven't had to deal with any of those in a while, thank the gods. There have been a few more sightings of hill giants than usual. Dumb beasts, always looking for food. Something has got them stirred up."
"There seems to be a lot of danger in the area for you to be getting any consistent caravans in. It must be causing you a lot of supply problems."
"So far the wagon trains keep on coming and going. Triboar Travelers has been staying busy though. You would be able to get some work there if you are looking for some."
"Maybe it's worth a call in to this Travelers on the Triboar, so that we know what is out there. Besides, maybe we can do something around Triboar before heading back to Phandalin. We don't want everything to be to ordinary!"

Umbriel will go with Nyx to Triboar Travelers. "Perhaps they have something they'd like escorted to Phandalin, something small we could easily carry while we search out Agatha, yes?"
The party enters the Triboar Travelers. You are greeted by a well dressed business man wearing a red eyepatch with a black serpent symbol on it. Standing next to him is a half-elf male, with short swords and daggers hanging from his belt.
When you tell the business man that you are in town and may be willing to escort some wagons, he looks the lot of you over very closely as if he is looking for something.
Finally he turns you away. Politely and good naturedly, but with a sure finality.
While the others shop, Baeshra spends the afternoon wandering around the village, just watching what the people do here, he's still not too familiar with human lands and villages.
(Unless there's magic items available, or new tattoo stuffs maybe, don't really need anything just now.)

Ireniana nodded. "How along ago did you send out the Twelve?"
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
"Just this morning, although the Orc attacks on the outlying ranches have been ramping up for a couple of days."

" Well, we'll add it to the list....banshee...dragon...giants...drow invasion.....beholder nest.....", Lyngheid said with a grim laugh.
"Beholder nest... did I miss something?"

It's about mid-day, where to now?
OCC: Nyx will go and find these Triboar Travelers. On the way she gives people the rundown on the inn's she passes.

Outside, once the party is gathered, Umbriel comments "Well, that was strange. Where to now?"
" We're probably not evil enough...."
" Lets buy a mule. Or a really big dog. Something that can carry stuff."
There are riding horses available at the Happy Horse Ranch.
Mules and draft horses are at the Cart and Coin. Mules are 8 Gold a piece.
Wagons can be found at Wainwright's Wagons.
Is anyone going to buy anything besides a mule?

Alright. Back to the Norshield House for the evening? Rooms are 1 gold per night, with dinner at 8 additional silver pieces.
