Omen

Omen continues down the creek another 10 ft. with the torch still ahead of the party. 

Baeshra will whisper to the group, "Goblins on the bridge up ahead, watch for an ambush."

Umbriel will keep Eldritch Blast ready, and fire at the first goblin that presents itself. Perception: 7

(ooc: positioning looks good.)

Kume raised his shield as he moved forward, protecting the others.

He couldn't do much about the goblin, that was for those with spells or missiles....he was tall but not that tall...

Cronan is going to move forward behind the others.

Thanks to Baeshra's keen observations, the party is warned about the goblin.  The goblin sees you coming and shouts something down the passageway.

 Alright, the goblin on the bridge is readying an arrow, everyone else take your first round turns.  Umbriel, launch your readied Eldritch Blast.

Umbriel sees the hapless foe, raises his spear and speaks an arcane word that reminds you of the creaking of a cemetery gate. Attack: 11 Damage: 8

The magical blast roars by the goblins head, smashing into the ceiling.   No damage done!

Baeshra will launch a flaming orb at the goblin, then duck into the wolf pen.

Attack: 8 Damage: 6 

Cronan will fire a dart at the goblin.

Attack: 23 Damage: 5

Rosie fires off a shot with her crossbow,aiming at the goblin on the bridge. Attack: 5 Damage: 8

Baeshra's flaming orb goes low and passes under the bridge.

Cronan flings a dart that flies true and sticks the goblin on the bridge.  The goblin drops to his knees, obviously hurt pretty bad, but not yet dead.

Rosie's crossbow shot does not go very well: 10.  The bolt drops out of her crossbow before she can fire it.

" What did he say? Does anyone speak Goblin?", he said moving against the left wall.

Omen

Omen will gather the magic to him and when ready, casts Firebolt at this neigh invulnerable goblin of great power.

"I hope they are not all this powerful." Omen says.

Hit: 13

Damage: 9

Whistler pipes up, "Speak Goblin?

 " Seemingly happy with himself that he learned a new Goblin word.

Omen's Firebolt blasts past the Goblin, singing it's ear, but doing no further damage.

Whistler remarkably mimics the goblin!

The goblin draws his bow and fires at Cronan: 21.  The arrow lands at the Halfling's feet, doing no damage!  The goblin dives for the deck of the bridge.

Umbriel will sigh and say "This is getting tiresome." He will then use the Blessing of the Raven Queen and (bonus action) teleport up to the bridge, in a square adjacent to the proned out goblin. When he appears, he will attempt to impale the irksome creature with a two handed stab at the base of its neck. Attack: 15 Damage: 4

With a sigh the Warlock vanishes from view only to reappear next to the goblin in a surprise to everyone.  Unfortunately, his stab misses the goblins neck and sticks into the bridge beneath the prone goblin.

OOC: Was that attack with advantage since the goblin was prone?

Cronan chuckles at the arrow next to his feet. He runs up and hits the goblin with two quick jabs.

Attack: 23 Damage: 6

Attack: 15 Damage: 4
