!!Lost Mine of Phandelver Campaign Thread!!

Lyngheid looks concerned as Nyx falls but she does as instructed even though she is unsure as to why Whistler and Droop are sleeping. ( she didn't even notice the poison.)

She intones a prayer of restoration as she reaches down and touches Whistler.

Action: Lesser Restoration on Whistler.

With the healing touch of Lyngheid, Whistler is awake!

Whistler wakes up with no hitpoints lost, Prone with Owlbear standing over him protectively, chaos all around and sees Umbriel launching Eldritch Blasts, Baeshra-Bear attacking the elementals and Ireniana attacking the Yakfolk.  He knows what to do...

(Yeah!!! Who's bringin the pain now!)

Whistler wakes up and notices his friends are hurt, he gently taps Owlbear with a knowing nod and charges straight into the fray, using Owlbear to flank. The black and blurry blender has been activated.

Round 4 Continued:

Lyngheid heeds the falling words of Nyx and reaches out to touch Whistler casting Lesser Restoration, and his eyes start to flutter!

Umbriel lands an Eldritch Blast on Nahala.

Nyx, she who is all hips and lips, is down and needs a Death Save!

Baeshra sends spectral bites and claws at the Earth Elemental, landing both attacks!

Ireniana swings at the earth elemental near her, landing one attack!

Whistler catches his bearings and then he and Owlbear tag-team the Earth Elemental.  Whistler damage: 19, Owlbear damage: 9, 8

Round 5!

The southernmost Yakfolk steps towards Umbriel, giving the elf an AoO: 12, and then he swings at Umbriel: 25, and again: 26, and if the first one hits, does 14 slashing damage.

Nahala heals herself for 17 hitpoints and brings her spiritual weapon over to attack Umbriel: 12, and it hits doing 13 force damage.

The door earth elemental dives into the earth floor and pops up on the other side of Baeshra, then attacks: 11, 27, both hits land, the second one extra hard, doing 16 and 28 bludgeoning damage.

The other Yakfolk Warrior swings at Ireniana: 20, but misses so he swings again: 18, both attacks missing!

The Earth Elemental takes a swing at Owlbear: 19 and swing at Whistler: 26, both hit.  Owlbear takes 19 bludgeoning and Whistler takes 19 bludgeoning damage.

Another Yakfolk warrior bursts through the door, sizes up the situation and runs to swing at Ireniana: 10, bounces off her armor and swings again: 8

But both attacks miss!

The elves keep attacking their target: 14, 11, 5, and hit, doing 7 damage!

Summary:
- Umbriel takes 14 slashing damage if he doesn't Shield it, and then 11 force damage even if he does shield it.
- Baeshra takes 10 bludgeoning and 34 bludgeoning damage.
- Ireniana dodges 4 attacks!
- Whistler takes 16 bludgeoning damage (halved to 8).
- OWlbear takes 14 bludgeoning damage.

The party is up!  Whistler is back in action, Droop and Nyx are out, both Earth Elementals and Nahala are looking pretty rough.

Lyngheid sent a Healing Prayer Nyxs way and swung Lightbringer at the Elemental.

The heavy hit knocks Baeshra back a bit as his form drops back into his normal lizardfolk form. Glancing around to see Lyngheid bringing Nyx back up, he focuses his druidic energy for a moment, and the faint aroma of the swamp surrounds the area within 30 feet of him before he shifts into a giant snake and hisses at the elemental.

Bonus action: Wildshape Giant Constrictor Snake (modified AC is 17 with his tattoo)

Umbriel instinctively flexes his bony knuckles around the glass staff, and casts Shield to block the yakfolk's blows. The spiritual weapon, however, hits him from behind, so he says "Let's see how you like it, cow!" and uses his last 3rd level spell slot to cast Magic Missile at the wife.

Nyx coughs, opening her eyes... "Did... did I give them enough of a head start seeing I was wiping the floor..." the Satyr clutches her side as she gets up.

She huffs, "Nice work elves... just like a frolic in the woods." Throwing caution to the wind Nyx attacks the Yakfolk that the elves are hanging off.

OCC: Death save not needed thanks to my fav priest/paladin!

Round 5 Continued:

Lyngheid brings Nyx back with a little prayer to the Wild Mother and then smashes the elemental in front of her with Lightbringer! The little bit extra of Divine Smite is enough to make the Earth Elemental shatter to dust!

Umbriel whips 5 quick magic arrows in succession at Nahala, who absorbs them all and grins back at him.

Nyx pops up without missing a beat and stabs the Yakfolk with the nude elves!

Baeshra casts his Aura and then turns into a giant constrictor!

Ireniana swings futilely at the Yakfolk Warrior, her wounds must be getting to her, as she misses both times!

Whistler shifts his attacks to the Yakfolk Warrior now that Earth Elemental is gone, and one hits, Owlbear manages to land both of his attacks!

Round 6!

Nahala points at Umbriel and mumbles arcane words, Umbriel feels his limbs start to seize up (DC14 Wis Save or be Paralyzed).  Then she uses her spiritual weapon to attack: 16 (advantage if paralyzed: 12). Damage if needed: 12.

The Yakfolk warrior with the elves on him swings once at Umbriel: 24, and hits, doing 20 slashing damage.

 And then once at Nyx: 13, just barely managing to land an attack, but doing 24 slashing damage. (Yes, halved is 6! She who is all hips and lips is still up!)

The remaining Earth Elemental lets out a gutteral roar as it swings at Baeshra-snake twice: 19, 11, and has no trouble hitting the giant constrictor, doing 19 and 15 bludgeoning damage.

The newly arrived Yakfolk jumps across the fire and swings at Lyngheid: 22, landing a solid hit and doing 14 slashing damage.  Lyngheid goes down!  It turns it's attention to Ireniana: 14, oh no, but her armor absorbs the worst of the blow, only doing 17 slashing damage. Nevertheless, enough that Ireniana falls too.

The remaining Yakfolk Warrior swings at Whistler: 22, and hits so he swings again: 16 this time missing, only doing 10 slashing damage.

Another yakfolk Warrior bursts through the door, looks behind him and nods, and then charges towards Whistler: 24, 19, but the furious Kenku whirls in a fit of feathers, dodging the last 3 attacks!

The elves press the attack on their target: 9, 14, 5, only one hitting for 4 piercing damage.

  Summary:
- Umbriel must make a DC14 Wis save or be Paralyzed.  If paralyzed, he takes 9 damage.  Regardless of paralysis he takes 19 slashing damage.
- Nyx takes 13 slashing damage, if she uncannily dodges, it is halved to 6.
- Baeshra takes 17 and 23 bludgeoning damage, requiring 1 DC10 Con save and 1 DC12 Con save.
- Lyngheid takes 19 slashing damage.
- Ireniana takes 18 slashing damage.
- Whistler takes 17 slashing damage (halved to 8).

The party is up for Round 6!  I think Lyngheid and Ireniana are down.  The earth elemental, Nahala and two of the Yakfolk warriors are looking very rough, but another just arrived.

Ireniana Death Save - 3

Baeshra con saves: 8   7 (I forgot he had advantage, but as both of those are too low to make the first DC, he loses concentration)

Baeshra surges toward the earth elemental and attempts to wrap himself around it.
