OCC: We are in no place to finish him now but should we come back before we leave and try and kill the Duke? Also, I'm a little worried about those drow. Could they have been after the couch as well?

Yevna Galanodel - Wood Elf | Level 8 | Druid/Circle of Spores 6 - Ranger 2 - Ravnica Nyx - Satyr | Level 9 | Rouge/Swashbuckler 5 - Bard/Collage of Lore 4 - Lost Mine of Phandelver/Storm King's Thunder
Safely aboard the airship, Umbriel collapses on deck and listens to the discussion. He says "It feels like we were down there for months, but we emerged victorious for the moment. We have the Conch, the Duke doesn't, and the drow can go to the Abyss for all I care. If I remember Harshnag and that ghostly entity, with the Conch back at the northern oracle, we can thwart the coming war between giants and dragons, and preserve the peace. Or were there more steps to that? Yes, we've earned the Duke's enmity, but we can deal with him later."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
From the Quests Heading on the Campaign page:
"The oracle of Annam the All-Father has said that Annam the All-Father broke the Ordning to rouse his children from their complacency. The Oracle of Annam the All-Father directed you to find a magic conch of the storm giant king, Hekaton. Use it to visit Hekaton's court. Root out the evil therein and find the whereabouts of King Hekaton."
Droop nods eagerly at the mention of visiting a town or city where he can replenish his supplies.
Now that you are in the airship, you can discuss where you want to go next. In the meantime, everyone can safely complete a Long Rest!
After the Long Rest, Nyx is able to identify the items:
And everyone advances to Level 9! Roll for HP! Remember, just add the rolled value to your character sheet on the level up, DNDBeyond automatically adds your Constitution bonus.
Ireniana nods as she looks at the studded leather. "Anyone mind if I could take that and I'll trade my Adamantite splint for it."
OOC: The main reason is that I want Ireniana to take a level of Barbarian and I don't get the Rage benefits with heavy armor and the leather raises my AC to 20, which is 1 better than my 19.

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Umbriel nods, and says "similarly, this rod is best used by one like me with... Certain arrangements in exchange for power. The pearl, however, would be a useful tool for Baeshra or Lyngheid, if either of you would like it."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Baeshra nods tiredly, "My scales are as good as most armors and I agree the rod is best for Umbriel. As for the pearl, I could use it, but I don't really need it and there are a few things I'd like to look for in the next town we visit that might prevent me from making use of the pearl."
Nyx and Lyngheid still need to re-roll their HP for level 9.
Where to? You're currently at Ironslag, and there's a few small villages and dwarven cities within a couple days journey that may have what you are looking for. And of course the huge cities of Waterdeep or Neverwinter will have whatever you need.
You would know that Citadel Felbarr is the larger city, with a decent chance of having arms and armament. Since it's a dwarven city, it lies underground, beneath the Rauvin mountains.
Make a history check at advantage to see what else you remember about Citadel Felbarr.
You've all also got a quest that takes you to Citadel Felbarr:
Deliver Ghelryn Foehammer's letter of recommendation for helping defend Triboar to King Morinn or Queen Tithmel in Citadel Felbarr.

OCC: I was also keen for the leather but having a tank with a high AC is important! I'll look for something in our next town stop.
