Umbriel cracks the door open. Not meeting any resistance, he pokes his head through and sees an empty chamber, with a curtain at the southern end and another door at the eastern side.
"This place seems rather empty for a headquarters of whatever goblin tribe you are hunting... Let peak around this next curtain... you know after all of this is done I will tell you about my time on stage in Calimport. The curtain calls...the drama. Those Calimshan know how to put on a performance..."
Nyx creeps quietly past the others towards the curtain in the south east, keeping close to the walls edge. When she gets there she listen closely and then, assuming she can't hear anybody on the other side, peaks around that curtain.
Briefly surprised, Umbriel turns around, points to his ears, holds up two fingers, and then bangs his fists together before pointing at the door. He will back away, having learned from experience that he should not be on the front lines of a fight.

Whistler has to hop off Spider-Baeshra, as the giant spider squeezes sideways to pull itself through the door. Baeshra, when you open the door you see that this chamber has been set up as a crude living space, with thick furs thrown on the floor to serve as carpets, old trophies hanging on the walls, a large bed to the north, and a brazier of coals burning brightly. A round table with several chairs stands to the south near the door. Near the table, on the floor, is an unconscious dwarf who looks badly beaten.
Directly in front of you is a female Drow arguing with a fierce, old Hobgoblin. Lying next to the bed on the north side of the room is a rather large wolf, and a goblin cowering in the corner of the room.
Your web shot launches at the Drow, but ends up missing and splattering all over the floor.
Everyone roll initiative! Take your turn as the first round will be a surprise round.
Droop draws his bow and hops from one foot to the other as he peaks through everyone's legs trying to get a shot. But he can't see anything to shoot, so he'll move up and ready an arrow attack if he sights a hostile.
The first round you all surprised the people in the room, so take your first round turns. And with an initiative of 4, you'll probably be taking your second round turns too.
First turn - Umbriel moves to where he can see the interior of the room. He'll cast Crown of Madness on the hobgoblin (DC14 Wis save), and if it sticks, make him swing at his drow buddy.
Second turn: he'll move to where he can see the drow clearly, and Eldritch Blast the you-know-what out of her. Attack: 14 Damage: 14 bless: 1
Baeshra/spider will wiggle his forelegs in an affirmative sort of way.
Ireniana will nod as well.
