Baeshra initiative: 21
Web recharge roll: 4
Baeshra will charge at the drow and try and place his large between it and the dwarf, biting ferociously.
Attack: 22 Damage: 7 DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 8 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
Hungry jaws bonus action bite: Attack: 8 Damage: 9 DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 3 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
2nd turn web recharge: 6
Baeshra will again bite at the drow.
Attack: 18 Damage: 7 DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 11 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
(if hungry jaws missed the first time: Attack: 19 Damage: 5 DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 8 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
(Had some issues getting the attacks, but not sure why it says it was manipulated, I can redo them all if you’d like.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Waiting a second or two for the others to respond and charge into the room, Nyx then deftly skips through and around the rest of the group, edging into the room and heading down along the left edge.
Seeing Ireniana charge the large bugbear, the satyr lets out with a cheer "Brave ye be Ireniana, I wish I was so brave, if I owned this castle, I would also make all it inhabitants behave"
Flattening herself up against the wall, Nyx raises her crossbow and fires it.
OCC:
Edited because I just realised my movement was 25 feet, not 35. That's what you get when you main character is a wood elf druid!
Surprise Round:
Full move and then bonus action dash into the bottom left corner.
First round:
Bardic Inspiration on Ireniana. You gain a (1d6) for 10 minutes that can be add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. You can wait until after you rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails.
I will fire my hand crossbow at whoever the closest engaged enemy is that is still up. Seeing they are engaged with another party member, I should be able to get my sneak attack bonus to damage.
Rosie moves into the room and casts Spiritual Weapon. She moves the spectral staff next to the hobgoblin and swings for his head. Attack, with Bless: 12 + 4 Damage: 12
She then casts Word of Radiance at the drow. Damage if she fails the CON 14 saving throw: 5
Nyx cheers on the group and inspires Ireniana as she squeezes past the group and works her way into the chamber, getting her back into a corner.
Whistler squeezes past Baeshra and gets into position against the Drow. In his first round Bonus Action he starts to Rage. He takes a large chunk out of the Drow with his first attack. (I think that's it for your first round - Bonus Action to Rage, and 1 action to attack, right?)
Umbriel casts Crown of Madness on the Hobgoblin. Wis save: 9. And he goes mad!
Lyngheid brings her spiritual weapon into play and takes a swipe at the Hobgoblin, but the glowing rings miss!
Ireniana squeezes past Baeshra and sidles up to the Hobgoblin, taking a swing but her Longsword swishes right past the big beast.
Baeshra crushes the table beneath his large spider body as he gets between the Drow and the unconscious dwarf and starts biting. His hungry jaws attack lands. Con Save: 21
Hobgoblin & Co: Surprised - no action.
Rosie makes her way into the room and gets her Spiritual Weapon into play, taking an attack at the Hobgoblin, but missing even with the bless! She utters her short prayer to the wild mother and the Drow rubs it's head, con save: 4. Taking full damage!
Round 2:
Droop still can't see a way in, so he hangs back, readying a shot with his shortbow if he sees an enemy.
Nyx now inspires Ireniana (read that wrong before) and then aims her crossbow at the Drow. The shot goes high and the bolt smacks into the ceiling above the group
Whistler works himself into a frenzy and swings at the Drow a first time and a second! The greatsword crushes into the drow and she collapses to the ground. Her form shriveling and twisting into something much different than a Drow.
Umbriel, with no creatures near the hobgoblin to force it to attack, readies an Eldritch Blast if he spots something worth blasting.
Lyngheid maintains her position and peers through the crack in the door to try and drop her Spiritual Weapon on the hobgoblin. The rings crash into him, but it's a near miss and no damage is done. You still have your action.
Ireniana swings futilely at the Hobgoblin, but misses, and sensing an opportunity, tries again, but misses!
Spider-Baeshra with the drow falling before it's eyes, turns it's attention to the Hobgoblin and takes a bite, but misses!
Now the Hobgoblin and Company are up. And they are pissed.
(That's a fair reading of the ability - I figured that the old hobgoblin would use his first action right after I cast the spell to attack the drow, but since he was surprised, he didn't get an action. Instead of Eldritch Blast, then, I'll maintain the spell and have the old boy smack the drow.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The crashing and chaotic noise of battle ensues! Suddenly a goblin bursts through the heavy curtain back in the room that Droop is in, surprising them both. Droop's readied shot: 20. Still hits! For 8 piercing damage.
A second goblin hurries past, before wheeling around, ready to swipe at Droop!
At the same instant, a Hobgoblin throws the curtain beneath Umbriel aside and charges into the room. He makes it to the doorway and looks into the King's chamber in horror before uttering a few words.
A Bugbear follows closely behind, and not able to get through the door, stands between Umbriel and Rosie, Morningstar swinging at Rosie: 9 + 2. The morningstar crashes into the little halfling's leather armor for 14 + 6 piercing damage. Woops, I placed the Bugbear between Umbriel and Lyngheid. Those attacks were on Lyngheid, I got my clerics mixed up!
The wolf jumps up from the floor and takes a quick leap at Ireniana: 23. Her back must have been turned, as the wolf's fangs sink into her, doing 7 piercing damage and she must make a DC11 Strength save or be knocked Prone.
The goblin in the room screeches and draws it's scimitar before coming down and taking a swipe at Ireniana: 24. But the rusty blade scratches at her armor, no harm done. The goblin disengages and runs to the back of the room.
The Hobgoblin, with no one to attack from Umbriel's spell, draws his Longsword and raises his shield. He starts to laugh and shouts "What is this? Some intruders think they are going to pull one over on old King Grol? Haha! Bring it on feeble creatures!"
Hobgoblin Wisdom Save against Umbriel's Crown of Madness: 17 + 4. He makes the save, and is no longer under the spell.
Summary: - Umbriel's readied attack is released on HC1. - Lyngheid takes 22 piercing damage. Needs a DC11 Concentration check to maintain Bless - Ireniana takes 8 piercing damage and must make a DC11 Strength save or be Prone.
Umbrielcasts Crown of Madness on HC1, again DC14 Wis save, and have him start slapping around his bugbear bestie. He doesn't like being cramped into a corner with so much going on, but he's not willing to abandon Lyngheid - he also doesn't know that Droop is up to his eyeballs in it in the next room.

Correct, Rosie too no damage. Cure Wounds is a touch spell, are you going to try and get close enough to Lyngheid to touch her?

So close! HC1 is within melee of you, so your ranged attack will have disadvantage. Make one more D20 roll.
