!!Lost Mine of Phandelver Campaign Thread!!

Droop, feels a little better with Umbriel next to him.  He pops up from behind the barrel and takes a shot at the Hobgoblin: 14.  The arrow pierces into the Hobgoblin's neck, doing 10 damage and the hobgoblins drops to the floor.

Round 5:

Attack on King Grol w/GWM: Attack: 10 Damage: 26

Bonus Attack without GWM: Attack: 13 Damage: 14

Attack: 20 Damage: 8 (Forgot to roll adv on the second.)

Whistler shouts out: "POTION!"

Standing over the dwarf, the Satyr looks over the seen in front of her.

We still have options, there is always a way out of...ohh that was a baaaad joke. A breast man, well I would have said that about most men.

"Hey Prince Col, keep on checking out those breasts and wonder why that swords getting bigger and bigger. The answer will hit you soon."

OCC:

Cast Vicious Mockery on King Grul. If he fails his WIS save he takes 2 damage and has disadvantage on his next attack.

Rosie con save: 6

She casts Shillelagh on her quarterstaff and takes a swing at HC1. Attack: 21 Damage: 10

 Rosie continues beating the tar out of the Hobgoblin Captain.   Con Save: 16.  Bless holds!

Nyx gets a good jab in at King Grol, Wis save: 19, and King Grol winces in pain as it pierces through his mind.

Whistler comes through an incredible blow and manages to do some real damage to the King.

Lyngheid takes a moment to heal herself and then tries to hit King Groll again with her spiritual weapon, but it bounces off of his shield.

Ireniana dispatches the pesky goblin with one swipe from her Longsword.

Baeshra takes another bite at King Grol, but misses!

Umbriel scores a direct hit on BB1, the Bugbear is looking brutally injured.

BB1, now injured badly, tries to run away, dashing as far as he can, and giving Lyngheid an attack of opportunity on it.

HC1 takes a stab at Rosie: 20 + 2 and just barely manages to connect for 12 slashing damage.  He takes another swing at the cleric: 23 + 2 and really hits this time, doing 13 more slashing damage.  The hobgoblin takes a step back to make room for the Bugbear, giving Rosie an attack of opportunity.

BB2 tries to run at Rosie and tackle her, knocking her out of the way.  Strength check: 12. 

King Grol, furious at Whistler, bashes his shield into the little Kenku: 14 for 8 bludgeoning damage. Then he unleashes with his Longsword: 24 and again: 28 (both only hit if Whistler is knocked Prone.  Damage if so: 19 slashing damage.

Summary:
- Lyngheid gets an AoO on BB1 as he tries to flee.
- Rosie gets an AoO on HC1. 
- Rosie needs to make a DC17 Athletics or Acrobatics check or be Grappled and carried by BB2.
- Rosie takes 17 slashing damage and has to make a DC 10 Con save.
- Whistler must make a DC14 strength Save or be knocked Prone.  Whistler takes 7 bludgeoning (halved to 3) and if fails the Strength Save takes 17 slashing (halved to 8).

Ireniana seeing Whistler is hurt, turns to King Grol and slashes her sword at him.

AoO: As HC1 moves away after injuring Rosie, her fury rises. "Oh no you don't!" She swings at him again with the quarterstaff. Attack: 25 Damage: 11

Athletics check: 5 Con save: 19

Rosie squirms in the Bugbears arms. "Hey! Put me DOWN!" She swings wildly with her enchanted quarterstaff: Attack: 19 Damage: 8

Then moves the Spiritual Weapon over to swing at his head. Attack: 14 Damage: 10

 Rosie continues to smash the Hobgoblin Captain with her Quarterstaff, before she is picked up by the Bugbear and transported a step into the room. 

 OOC: Ireniana you gain adv due to flank with Baeshra.

Whistler's Round 6:

Attack: 9 Damage: 17

Bonus Attack: 22 Damage: 14

OOC: DM, does the 17 still connect due to the flat rolll of the adv King Grol rolled, ignoring the second rolled number, right? 17 dmg is halved to 8?

Droop rushes over to the door near Lyngheid and pokes his head through.  He then backs up, letting the door shut again and whispers "More in there!" before readying an arrow if any come through.

 Yes, I looked at that wrong, good catch! 

 "Ohh no you don't you fool, no kidnapping in my neck of the woods. Not that's her size mean's she's a kid...O hope I didn't offend!"

As the bugbear grabs Rosie and come barrelling towards them, the sprightly Satyr seizes the opportunity to stab at it with her blades.

OOC: GWM is nasty! Problem was, Whistler couldn't hit King Ghrol due to its high AC. Best to go with small damage. ;) Also nice crit!

Lyngheid hit out at the retreating Bugbear, she moved her emanation to attack the one holding Rosie and sent healing enegies Rosies way.

Next turn inspire on Whistler. Remember that Ireniana already has inspire.

Baeshra/spider is determined to finish off this so-called king.
