Baeshra is knocked out of his dinoshape by the attacks, but he simply shakes his head, flows back into dinoshape and attacks again.
Don't forget your AoO. I think that would be in lizardform since it's turn knocked you out of Dino-shape, and you don't get back in until your turn, right?

The angelic figures sculpted along the room's upper reaches make you think that this used to be a chapel or shrine at one time. Heavy curtains block a matching pair of archways to the north. A stone brazier/alter is between the archways. The stone brazier contains a large mound of coal at it's base.
Anyone who attempts a DC 10 Religion check can read the spoiler below.
The decor in the room identifies the deities that were once revered here: Oghma (god of knowledge), Mystra (goddess of magic), Lathander (god of dawn), and Tymora (goddess of luck). This is an obvious sign that the builders of the castle were human.
You look over the bodies, and the bulk of the bodies look like snakes. Near the head, four tentacles spread out, each with sharp, hooklike claws on the end. They open to reveal a hard, bird-like beak.
Anyone familiar with the Underdark may recognize these as Gricks.
You see a bit of crimson cloth poking out from underneath the coals. When you pull it out, you find a gold statuette of a sun elf (worth about 100 gp). It has a strange, special feel to it, like it might be more than gold.
Ireniana makes another slash with her sword.

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Nyx fires at the retreating creature.

Yeah, those tentacles are nasty. Luckily this thing hasn't been landing many of it's attacks!

Is that your turn or your Attack of Opportunity?
Rosie swings at it when her enchanted quarterstaff as it goes past. Attack: 9 Damage: 10
OOC: Can she follow it and hit at it again for her turn?

Lyngheid AoO: Attack: 8 Damage: 7
It will be too far off the ground.
Rosie gets a good whack in on the thing with her staff, Ireniana takes a chunk out of it with her Attack of Opportunity, Lyngheid swings and misses!
Droop takes a shot with his shortbow: 16 and Nyx quickly follows up, the arrow and bolt both hitting the stonework behind them.
Umbriel's bell fills the room (Wis Save: 4) and the creature shrugs off the sound.
The creature tries to crawl further into the little alcove above and hide in the dark, but the light from Rosie's staff illuminates it.
One more well placed ranged shot would finish it off. We'll say that between Rosie, Nyx, Droop and Umbriel someone manages to land the killing blow!
And we are out of initiative.
That was my attack of Opportunity.

Umbriel was never much into religion; growing up in the realm of a demigod sort of ruins that for you, but still: 1
Literally the funniest thing I have read today! LMAO
Whistler - Lost Mines of Phandelver [Lvl 8 Barbarian] | Cinta Yuliani Lestari - My Island Home [Lvl 3 Fighter] | Shalana - Allansia Wildlands [Lvl 4 Monk] | Roger Durant - Storm King's Thunder [Lvl 8 Monster Hunter] | Rotthran - The Waterdeep Heist [Lvl 5 Thief]
Hahaha, Agreed! That's perfect. Take an inspiration point, Umbriel, just because the dice gods lined up with the commentary so well!
Droop uses Second Wind to regain 7 hit points. Then checks on Lyngheid and asks "We rest? Or we rescue more?"
What does the party do now? Search this room, go to another room? Short rest? Long rest?
Nyx quickly checks through the room.
"What was that thing?"
