After picking yourselves up from the rubble, you poke your head through that close doorway to the south. Several goblins in chef's aprons look up from what appears to be a kitchen counter. They yelp and scamper out the far door. Do you let them go?
You also look in the other doors. The rooms look like bunks and common areas. All deserted.
(sadly, the owlbear is not with us, otherwise I would suggest that Whistler let it run rampant through the fleeing goblins)
Umbriel doesn't mind letting them go - if dino-Baeshra chases them, he'll send a few Eldritch Blasts their way to assist, but otherwise he's content not to get overly involved while the party is so tapped. "That looks like everyone - and I didn't see any entrances to lower levels. I do think we should check the upper levels of the tower they were keeping the owlbear in, and as long as Droop isn't offended, perhaps we can destroy that altar to Maglubiyet."
Baeshra will not attack, but will chase the goblins outside and ensure they flee for good, then he'll circle around to retrieve the mule and pony in Lizardfolk shape and bring it to the castle.
Dino-Baeshra chases the goblins out of the castle and they flee into the forest! While Baeshra gets the mule and Pale and returns to the castle, the rest of the party goes back to the goblin shrine. Upon closer inspection you find that the chalice, knife and censer are human-made art objects, made of solid gold. (Chalice 150GP, knife 60 GP, and censer 120GP).
Droop has no objections to destroying the shrine. "Lot's of better gods!" he says before leaving the shrine.
The party reconvenes with Whistler and the Owlbear. Whistler has managed to get the Owlbear to be calm, if not quite comfortable around the rest of the party yet. Whistler, you are fairly confident that the Owlbear will follow you when you leave.
Umbriel, do you want to try and search the tower with the Owlbear in it, or wait until Whistler leads it out?
The party is in need of a rest, there is a pile of potentially magic items to identify, and a pile of armor and equipment that you may want to try and sell in town. What does everyone do now?
If Whistler is able to move the owlbear (what is he going to name it, Umbriel wonders to himself) into the next chamber, Umbriel would feel better about searching the tower without a large beast in it. Investigation: 12

Nyx will spend some time moving around gear to make some barricads and finds a position where she can climb up high and get a good view of the area around them.
Whistler is able to coax the Owlbear into the next room. Umbriel looks through the tower. All that remains of the tower's second floor is a jagged ledge. You notice a battered wooden chest sitting on it and with a little prodding from your staff manage to get it down. The chest is unlocked and contains 90 EP, 120 GP, a pouch full of gems worth about 100 GP, a scroll of Daylight and a scroll of Tidal Wave.
"Maybe we should hold up in here. It is a defendable position which we can secure. Like I said before, we should think about what happens with it in the long term, so another evil does not lay claim to it as home."

Nyx will spend some time moving around gear to make some barricads and finds a position where she can climb up high and get a good view of the area around them.
Nyx gets King Grol's room secured fairly well and she can see quite a ways from the arrow slits in the room. She doesn't find a good spot to hide herself though, and her hooves keep making a lot of noise on the stone floor.
Whistler mimicks every single party member perfectly to the Owlbear whilst happily chatting about how they are friendly much to the Owlbear's confusion on the voice changing. The duo wait in the room opposite still chatting and having a blast before both agreeing to have a sleep and become strong beasts tomorrow.
Whistler rests against the fluffy side of the Owlbear as they both get comfortable and fall asleep.
