Nice, good saves!
Baeshra, the current situation is that you are on Round 11 and have seen a wolf coming at your back. Lyngheid told you that she would buy you some time and she went to battle Klarg. She is unconscious, but stable in Round 12.
Baeshra is going to dash out of there, running to the bridge and then jumping off to continue out. Same again when/if he gets another turn. If he makes it outside, he’ll take the mule with him, and use it as cover from arrows.

W3's attack of opportunity as you run by: 23. Miss!
W3 does not pursue, but instead dashes into Klarg's cave.
On your Round 12 turn you go past the kennel and notice that all the wolves are gone, and G8 is in there looking towards the back of the cave. You have 15' of movement and your action left. Do you want to continue running for the exit? Do you want to slow down to a walking pace and stealth out? Do you want to attack G8?

Excellent! You sneak up to the mouth of the cave and see two wolves feasting on the torn up remains of poor Candy the Mule.
You continue out of the cave, over the creek and into the thicket on the west side of the creek, trying to get around the wolves without them noticing.
Wow! Two high rolls, but lucky for you, you go unnoticed. Unless you want to do something different, you follow the trail back to the wagon where you find a large group of people gathered around it making plans of some sort...

Omen
A middle aged man, a little over 6 foot tall man with long white hair and a long beard, leaning on a quarter staff. He is dressed in a simple tunic, leggings, boots with a hooded cloak, all are a bit worn earth tone colors. Behind him and off to the left is a mule. The man holds the reins of the mule in his left hand.
"This looks a bit grim doesn't it." he says to the others around him. "Best be on alert." he continues. "Not sure what is about but they may be coming back."
Omen looks around a bit more to see if anything catches his attention.

Kume Loren
" Mr Omen, Sir. What do you think happened here? Why did they hide the cart and the dead horses, Sir?"
Kume was an immensely tall and well muscled lad with an easy smile, skin like polished ebony and armour that shined with far too many hours of aimless polishing.
He was obviously thrilled, nervous and eager to be out in the world.
Seeing Omen scan the area he clammed up and did the same.

Umbriel
A slightly shorter than average elf, with ghostly greyish skin and no hair, nods his assent as he leans on an intricately carved spear that seems equal parts ceremonial and functional.
"I agree, these violent deaths hunger for some kind of retribution. We must be on our guard."
Umbriel's near black eyes scan the treeline for hidden foes. Perception: 17
Rosie is a halfling with medium brown skin, curly brown hair, and a generally cheery face. She's wearing leather armor and carrying a mace, a crossbow, and a quarterstaff. Around her neck she wears an amulet that encases colorful pressed flowers. Poking out of her hair is the occasional twig or leaf, and flowers peek out of her pockets.
Her brow creases. "This is very concerning indeed. I wonder if anyone needs help."
Occasionally pecking at the ground stands a rather small black Kenku with some of his feathers falling out. On his back, he carries a sword slightly longer than his body, his muscles hidden in the fluff. On his hip is his trusty firewater.
"Be on guard, indeed concerning" mimicks Whistler, taking a swig of Firewater.

A stout halfling with short, black hair and a thin smile on his face and travelers attire walks up the road with a spring in his step and humming a tavern tune. His hands are wrapped in cloth strips and his feet are clothed in sandals as he sees the rest of the group. "Well beys, it seems like we have some investigating to do."
Assuming Baeshra comes back and explains the situation to everyone, it is between 8 and 9 pm. The last rays of the sun are bouncing off a few wispy clouds in the night sky. It's a new moon, so the night will be very dark.
Do you all want to wait until morning or advance up the trail in the night?
Baeshra, jump in with details if you feel so inclined.
Baeshra will step out of the underbrush (nobody's perception beat his stealth) and look to the gathered folk, "Who are you? Have you come for the goblins?"
