!!Lost Mine of Phandelver Campaign Thread!!

Cronan is going to run over and attack wolf CLV.

Attack: 25 Damage: 7

Attack: 9 Damage: 6

Umbriel's Eldritch Blast tears into Ripper, and the wolf howls and glares at the party where the blast came from.

Rosie's crossbow bolt sinks into Klarg's armor, but doesn't do any damage to the Bugbear.

Cronan runs over to Cleaver and makes two quick strikes.  Cleaver is looking pretty hurt.

Whistler, Omen and Kume are up.  

Alright, to keep this moving, I'll bot Whistler, Kume and Omen:

Whistler, in a rage, rushes around the fire and up to the snarling wolf, taking a swipe with his oversized sword: 14.  The sword cuts deep into Ripper: 12.  The wolf snarls gnashes it's teeth, but you can tell it is badly hurt.

Omen launches a Fire Bolt at the Bugbear: Unable to parse dice roll..  Damage if hit: 7

Kume dashes up to the large Bugbear and stabs with his Longsword: 19.  The sword slices into the Bugbear for 7 damage.

Omen's attack: 8.  Miss!  Wow, the attacks are a lot better this time, doing some serious damage!

Klarg roars at the site of his wolves being cut to shreds: "THERE YOU ARE PUNY CREATURES!  NOW KLARG WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON!"

Klarg reaches out with his morningstar and attacks Kume: 22.  Whoa!  5.  The Morningstar gets caught up on the stalagmite, his next attack will have a -1 penalty.

Ripper turns and tries to bite Whistler: 13.  The pain is still getting to the angry wolf as it's jaws clamp down on empty air.

Cleaver snaps at Cronan: 16. But Cronan deftly shifts away from the snapping jaws.

A previously unseen goblin that Baeshra might recognize who is holding a scimitar over the opening in the east of the cave, drops his scimitar, picks up his shortbow and fires at the closest target, Cronan. 12.  The arrow bounces off the stalagmite, nowhere near Cronan.

Summary:
In a total reversal of fortune, almost all of the parties attacks land, and none of the enemies even come close.

Round 2!  Everyone, post your actions.

Gaining confidence despite his wounds, Umbriel will take a step into the cavern (one square down from current position) and send an Eldritch Blast at Klarg. Eyes narrowed, a word of undying power triggers the blast that flies forth from the tip of Umbriel's spear: Attack: 23 Damage: 7

Round 2:

Whistler will finish off the wolf and then move to face Klarg.

Attack: 10 Damage: 8

If flanking rules are a thing: Attack: 4 Damage: 9

Kume held his sword forward in salute, " Sorry about this, Mr Klarg. But it must be done."

Omen

.Ok.

The next round, when Omen's turn comes up he will use his only spell slot left and fire 3 Magic Missiles into the bugbear.

Missile #1: 4

Missile #2: 2

Missile #3: 3

Baeshra will move to the remaining goblin and strike with his [Tooltip Not Found].

Attack: 8 Damage: 10

Umbriel fires off another Eldritch Blast at the roaring Bugbear.  It streaks past his companions and does a fair bit of damage to the hairy beast.

Whistler shifts position slightly to try and setup a flanking attack with Kume, but to no avail! His attack misses Ripper the wolf.

Kume offers a salute to the Bugbear, to which Klarg laughs at, and then shrugs off a glancing blow from Kume's sword.

Omen gets into the spirit and fires 3 magic missiles into the Bugbear for 12 damage!  Klarg is starting to look a little hurt now.

Baeshra dashes around the fire and over to the last goblin, bringing his club down on it's head and crushing it's skull!

Rosie steps further into the room, looks around at the scene, and fires off a shot at GP. Attack: 13 Damage: 10

 That one is already dead, do you want to do one of the wolves instead?

Cronan uses his quarterstaff to rack up one more blow on Cleaver: 24.  The staff lands with authority!  6.  Cleaver is down!

Rosie's lines up on the Goblin, but then sees Baeshra running for it and decides to shoot Ripper instead.  The bolt tears into the wolf and Ripper is down!

Klarg howls in rage as he sees his pets fall: "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!  THIS CANNOT HAPPEN TO KLARG!" He strikes out at Kume: 8.  In his anger he over-reaches and misses the warrior. 

Seeing the tide turning and his wolves dead, Klarg runs for the opening of the shaft to the kennel below.  Kume and Baeshra get an attack of opportunity on him.

Baeshra will swing at him as he tries to flee.

Attack: 13 Damage: 10

BOOM!  The plucky Lizardman lands a solid blow with his club and puts an end to Klarg, the Bugbear.

Alright, the threats appear to be gone.  What does everyone do now?

Baeshra looks to the others, "There was another group across that bridge, they'd been holding the hostages and indicated a willingness to negotiate with us in exchange for killing this one. I recommend bringing his head with us."

Omen

"That didn't seem too bad." Omen says.

Omen will walk around and survey this chamber fully, making sure they are no secret chambers and the like. 

Perception: 14

Investigation: 12

"Let's go find the hostages. I'm worried about how they're faring! I have some healing that might help fix some of them up."

Omen, you take a good look around and notice the ceilings are 12 to 20 feet high in places, and a little damp, but covered with soot from the fire.  At the back and side of the cavern there are several chests, crates, and barrels.  You recognize the emblem of the Lionshield Coster on some of them, and realize that these must be the missing supplies you were sent to find.

As you start to walk over to them to look at the chests more thoroughly, Rosie's words catch your ears.

Umbriel will take out a dagger and wordlessly begin the grisly process of separating Klarg's head from his body.
