Omen
Speaking and understanding Goblin, omen will attempt to listen and discern what they are saying to one another.
perception: 18
Insight (maybe?): 11
Umbriel will stride in, Klarg's head held high. He'll toss it on the ground in the direction of whichever goblin looks like he's in charge.
Before they go silent you hear a lot of snippets:
"I don't want to."
"Is it done yet?"
"Pass me an ear..."
"Hold this."
As the party walks into the goblin den, you see a cooking fire in the corner with cots and goblins scattered about. A ten foot high cliff is on the southern side with a steep natural staircase leading up to it. The air is hazy with the smoke of the cooking fire and the smell of unwashed goblins.
On top of the cliff at the edge you see a large goblin standing between two men on their knees. One is older and gray haired. The other is younger, and both look barely concious.
Baeshra you recognize Sildar Hallwinter and Tildenn.
Further back from the ledge lie the rest of the prisoners, most of them moaning and groaning.
Once Umbriel throws Klarg's head up to the big goblin, the goblin grins.
Sildar manages to groan out "Get out, don't trust.." before Yeemik the big goblin slaps the back of his head.
Yeemik shouts: "Thank you for doing that dirty work for me. Now for your payment!" And with that he raises his bow and shoots into the party.
OOC:
Alright, everyone roll initiative. No surprise rounds here. Continue playing your alternate characters. The originals are bound and gagged, and all conscious but at 1 hit point.
Yeemik's Company Initiative: 11
Post your first round actions if your initiative roll is higher than Yeemik & Company.
Umbriel's intiative: 7
Ouch, from a nat 20 on you last initiative to a natural 1!
(ooc: yeah, this is gonna be a painful round for Umbriel, I'm guessing!)
Cronan Initiative - 20
Cronan is going to run up to the closest goblin and attack.

Round 1:
Whistler brings his greatsword from in front of him and uppercuts the nearest goblin from crotch to head.
Attack: 23 Damage: 9
"Your payment!"

Cronan runs straight up to Y3 and spins his quarterstaff into the goblins face. Spinning the staff with one hand, he uses the other hand to slap at the goblin. The slap takes the goblin right in the cheek, but unfortunately it wasn't hard enough to do any damage. Y3 is still looking pretty rough from the first blow though.

Kume looked shocked by the goblins sudden but inevitable betrayal, " Surely they don't think they can win this?"
He ran up and attacked the nearest Goblin ( Y3)
Initiative:

Attack: 23 Damage: 12
Yeemik fires the first arrow at Baeshra: 10. The arrow goes high and sails past Baeshra.
Y1 snarls and raises his bow, aiming down the passageway at Omen: 22. The arrow flies true and strikes the wizard square in the chest: 6.
Y3 swipes with his sword at Cronan, trying to get some payback: 17. The scimitar slashes towards the halfling monk, but he dodges it with his monk reflexes.
Y4 fires an arrow at Cronan: 16. The monk must have been distracted by Y3's sword attack, because the arrow lands, doing 4 piercing damage.
Y5 shoots an Baeshra: 14, the arrow once again going wide and missing the lizardman.
Y6 takes a swipe at Cronan: 21, but Cronan manages to duck right out of the way.
Y7 lines up on Kume and lets an arrow fly: 8. It doesn't even come close to the heavily armored warrior.
Y8 uses his scimitar to slash at Baeshra from behind: 11. No damage done!
Summary:
- Omen takes 6 piercing damage.
- Cronan takes 3 piercing damage.
Round 1 Initiative:

Kume attacks back at Y3, but his sword strike misses.
Omen sends a bolt of Fire at the large, old, goblin and it hits, but does minimal damage.
Whistler darts between Umbriel and Baeshra and uses his greatsword to devastating effect on Y6. The goblin is dead!
The rest of the party is up!
Irritated that they're under attack again, Umbriel will mutter to Baeshra "It would appear that you were correct, and I am glad we followed your suggestion to stay together."
He then sends an Eldritch Blast at YK: Attack: 23 Damage: 9
Baeshra will swing at the goblin next to him (y8) before moving further in to get out of the way, “Hard lessons learned stick with you.”
Attack: 20 Damage: 7
