Baeshra, you can see that the stairs descend down a hallway, with a lantern at the end. It looks like there might be a door to the left and a passageway to the right. That's all you can see before your attention is drawn to the north.
Whistler, you also notice something lurking about 25 feet to the north. It is a strange creature with spines on it's back, and sharp talon claws on its hand, it's face dominated by one huge eye. The creature is hopping back and forth and looking in the crevasse. So far it doesn't seem to have noticed you.
Lyngheid, you do indeed recognize the stonework. The floors and walls are well-built stonework, made for the Tresendar family many years ago. You remember that a great knight named Aldith Tresendar had the stonework commissioned for his manor.
Whistler, you don't notice any traps, but you see a pile of bones and some rusty armor against the east wall, across from the southern bridge. You also notice that the bridges are more just gangways laid on the ground, and an end could be dislodged, dropping the whole thing into the crevasse.
The crevasse is a steep-sided fissure is 5 to 10 feet wide and 20 feet deep. It's rough walls look like they could be easily climbed without an ability check, although there is a jumble of rubble and it looks like more bones at the bottom.
If you want to continue looking for traps around the southern bridge make an Investigation check.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Umbriel will wait quietly - He would rather avoid the thing to the north if possible, since it doesn't fit the description of a Redbrand, but he will defend himself if necessary. He'll keep an eye on the stairs and the door, looking for movement. Perception: 7

No movement, and it doesn't seem to notice you yet, thanks to the groups high Stealth rolls.
As Lyngheid and Ireniana come out from the pillar and move toward the stairs the hair on the back of their necks start to rise and they pause.
Lyngheid, you hear, seemingly just filled in your head: "Hello there, little thing!" and then a mad cackle. "Did you bring me some food?"
Ireniana, you hear, also just filling your head, not actually sound: "Another pretty one. HAHAHA. What is for lunch, hmm?"
Both of you make a Deception check.
The creature dances around a little and the rest of you hear in your heads some telaptahic whispering: "A whole gumbahroo, a whole lot of them. Strange creatures. Yes. Strange. HAAHAHAHA. Do you have food, strange creatures?"
Everyone else make a Deception check as well as you all feel something prodding around in your head.
Umbriel grimaces - this was too familiar, too similar to his time in the Shadowfell, before he found his purpose. Shaking his head, he'll try to clear everything out. Deception: 9

After taking a close look at the southern bridge, you can see that it is rigged to collapse when a certain amount of weight is on it.
OOC: Spoiler for Whistler:
You hear in your mind: "Little bird! I know all about your guilt. You won't have to feel guilty for long if you provide me some food. It's been awhile since I've had some fowl! AHAHAHAHAHA"

You feel some probing in your head, but seem to be able to shake it off for the moment.
Instead everyone hears in the mind again: "Ballocks. Treebug. Food! What have you brought me? Do I get the little bird? TEEHEE!"
"You can have the little bird when death comes to claim us all!" Angered by the mental probing, Umbriel will point his spear and loose an Eldritch Blast at the creature.
