Sildar raises an eyebrow and looks over the staff. "Interesting, I guess that is why they called him Glasstaff. Yes, I'm not looking for proof though, I believe you. I need to gather the body to finish up my paperwork for the Lord's Alliance. It won't be any trouble for you all to get it, will it?"
The group heads back to the Inn, garnering a few raised eyebrows at Droop, but nothing more hostile than that.
Food and drink is had, and then a well-deserved long rest.
The morning dawns, but it's hard to tell because the sky is thick with clouds and heavy rain coming down.
The day, as they say, is yours, what does the party do?
Whistler: if you decided to sit with the Greatsword before going to sleep you discovered that it is a Silvered, Moon-Touched Greatsword, granting a plus 1 to Attack rolls (but no additional damage). Silvered means it's damage counts as magical, and Moon-Touched means it will shed light in the dark. I'll add this to your inventory tonight with the right customizations. If you decide you want it.
All: If you wanted to do something before the long rest, let me know. We can work that out due to the limitations of play by post.
If possible, Baeshra would like to start working with his kit and the stuff from the alchemy lab to start making healing potions, purchasing the rest of what he needed and finishing up in the morning. (Or longer, how long does this take?)

Using the rules from Xanather's Guide to Everything, brewing a potion of healing will cost 25GP of supplies and 1 day of time. You've got 15GP of supplies already, so you'll need to buy 10 more GP, which we can say you do.
(If Baeshra wants to spend a day brewing a potion, the rest of us can accomplish some errands around town, I think - We can recover Glasstaff's body, check in with Halia Thornton, meet the orchard keeper, and clean out any remaining Redbrands at the Sleeping Giant with some intimidation - what does everyone want to do?)
Alright, Baeshra stays in his room, working on a healing potion.
The rest of the party heads out to run errands. Let's say that you went back to Tresandor Manor, retrieved Glasstaff's body and brought it back to Sildar.
Sildar greets you all, "Good morning! Were you able to bring the body of Glasstaff back to me?"
With Droop carrying the feet, Umbriel will (mostly drag) Glasstaff's body through the door. "Here is the wizard. He and his friend gave us quite a bit of trouble."
Accompanying Umbriel but mostly happy and bemused to have Droop doing the hard part Lyngheid nodded at Umbriels pronouncement.
" That they did, I'm not sure if you have any greater insight than us, Sildar. But can you think why they were so intent on dying....when hopelessly outnumbered. Is this Spider such a terrifying individual that his...its...subordinates fear them more than death?"
She looked at Umbriel with a slight apologetic smile....there was something else here Umbriel knew that she herself had not yet pieced together....she was sure...
Umbriel narrows his eyes at Sildar. "This is Iarno? Why was he leading the Redbrands, then? And working for the Black Spider?" Umbriel shows him the letter found on Glasstaff's desk, allowing him to read it but maintaining positive control of it. "It would appear your colleague was not as trustworthy as you thought."
"Hmm." Sildar reads the letter then looks up. "I am completely shocked! It appears that Iarno was recruited by the Black Spider."
Sildar grunts and looks off in thought for a long, uncomfortable moment.
"Well, I must get word to my colleagues in Neverwinter immediately. Here, the 300 gold pieces we agreed upon. Thank you, once again you have done me a great service. Please stop back by in a few days, I may have further need of your talents."
Sildar hands over a large coin purse with 300 gold.
OOC:
Nice job completing two quests, finding Iarno and eliminating the Redbrand threat! Who was surprised by that turn of events?
Where to now?

Umbriel nods, and says "Very well. Once my companions and I have rested and recovered, we will retrieve his body for you."
Sildar agrees. "Thank you".
Back to the Inn for a long rest?
Umbriel's definitely headed that way, bringing Droop with him. If the others have more to do, he'll catch up with them in the morning.

Whistler is excited that he can make light with his sword, barges into each and every member's room to show the shining shiny.
After he tires himself out, he crashes in his room and begins to mimic one of the patron's snoring as he drifts to sleep.
Whistler - Lost Mines of Phandelver [Lvl 8 Barbarian] | Cinta Yuliani Lestari - My Island Home [Lvl 3 Fighter] | Shalana - Allansia Wildlands [Lvl 4 Monk] | Roger Durant - Storm King's Thunder [Lvl 8 Monster Hunter] | Rotthran - The Waterdeep Heist [Lvl 5 Thief]
Needing only 4 hours of meditation, at some point during the night Umbriel will attune to the glass staff as well.
OK, roll for recharges on the staff.
staff charges regained: 6

How do you want to take your 1 day of downtime?

(Those errands sound good!)

Droop grumbles while he is carrying Glasstaff's feet: "Droop is very helpful, yes! Helpful Droop."
When Umbriel and Droop deposit Glasstaff in front of Sildar, Sildar exclaims "My gods! What have you done to Iarno?"
