Lyngheid grinned and clenched her fist as two interlinked razor-edged wedding rings the size of the ogres heads suddenly shimmered into existence over the behemoths.
At this impressive display, the two ogres look at each other, then quickly turn and run back the way they came.
OOC: Nice Job, good assisting and intimidating!
It's getting later in the evening now, and the party finds a good spot to make camp at the base of a gentle hill, with tall tufts of grass scattered about.
OK, if you decide to camp, everyone make a Survival check to determine your success at foraging for the day. The main navigator for the group make a Survival check to see if you were able to stay on track for today's journey.
Then go about setting up camp, and preparing for the night.

As the Ogres run off, Umbriel hops down off of the cart, and grins at the party. "I didn't want to eat them, personally, but I don't think they'll be back. All the same, we should set up a watch tonight, just to be on the safe side. I can take the first segment."
Lyngheid's got a +3 to survival, so she is good to go.
Everyone is able to find enough food and water throughout the day, no need to break into your rations!
Umbriel is fairly confident that they have been heading in the right direction.
Things are looking good so far. The group settles down to a dinner of berries, rabbit, squirrel, wild carrots!! and other delicacies from nature. The sun, if you could see it through the clouds, is starting to get low in the sky. Have any conversations and make any preparations for the night that you want.

Umbriel finishes up the last of a particularly well grilled wild carrot as Droop tears into a raw squirrel. "A good day of travel, and though I would have enjoyed beating the snot out of two ogres, I'm also thankful we didn't need to risk life or limb, or deplete our healing potions in unnecessary combat. Droop and I will take the first watch. Who will follow us?"
As the party is eating a late dinner and discussing the watch line up, Whistler hears a whirring in the distance. He looks around and can barely see a swarm of ...something heading towards the fire.
As the swarm gets closer he is able to pick out a little more detail: they are horrid monsters that look like a cross between a large bat and an oversized mosquito. Their legs end in sharp pincers, and long, needle-like proboscis slashes the air.
Everyone roll initiative! Thanks to Whistler's sharp ears, you'll get a round to prepare before the swarm arrives, so take your first round actions.
Baeshra glares at them with his flat reptilian eyes, "No. You go, or I eat." Gesturing to them and clacking his jaws together loudly.
(Same idea, posted at the same time, can I give him some help for advantage?)
Yes, go ahead and roll again for Umbriel, Gorthmorg.
Droop mutters to Umbriel "See! Droop told you the horses are for eating!"
Whistler produces a Dino Baeshra roar, practically foaming at the beak.

Who is the Navigator? The one pointing out the way?
