Everyone files out into the snowy road, your pockets a little heavier, and full of anticipation.

Thistle would like to check out Pelc's Curiosities in the hopes of finding some tinkering tools and healing items that may be useful on their travel.

Sanjay will accompany Thistle. He's going to be looking for healing potions and just seeing what else they have at the store.

Senine follows Sanjay and Thistle. "Potions are pricey. If needs be, I can give ya some gold to pick one up." She takes a pull from her flask after she speaks.

After a short walk, you approach Pelc’s Curiosities; a one-story, two-room log cabin. The windows are shuttered leaving the interior dark. The cabin before you has a sign over its door which reads, “Pelc’s Curiosities,” with the image of a curving dragon used to make the letter P. Though the shop appears closed, the front door is slightly ajar.

Sanjay will hold his hand up and say, "Hold on. The door is open. We should check for signs of trouble." Sanjay will begin looking around for indications that the place was broken into. 

Whichever one you feel like using:

You hear whispered voices and footsteps coming from inside.

Everyone makes a Stealth check:

Sanjay - 12 

Senine - 6

The whispering stops.

Senine, all 5 feet 11 inches and 200 lbs of her even without the heavy chainmail she's wearing, looks at Sanjay and whispers, "I think they heard us."

Sanjay whispers back, "We should cover all entrances/exits so that they can't get out."

Senine rolls her neck and plants her feet. "They'll hear me wherever I go, so I'll watch the door."

The sound of footsteps resumes.

Sanjay tries to quietly move around to the back of the building, looking for the back door (if there is one?). 

Sanjay sees that there is only shuttered windows in the back of the store.

As Senine moves closer to the front door, she can see inside just enough to notice that there are two cloaked elves who seem to have ransacked the shop and are searching through the broken debris on the floor. The furniture, shelves, and front counter have been smashed, and the shop’s wares now litter the floor.

Senine shoulders through the door, shield at the ready and her morningstar in hand. "Stop right where you are thieves!"

The Elves turn angrily at your appearance, weapons drawn.

Sanjay bursts into the building through the nearest opening (either door or window), and casts entangle (DC14 STR save) on a 20' square that encompasses both of the elves if possible. On a failed save, they are restrained.

He says, "Stop right where you are and tell us what you're doing here!"

Sanjay - Athletics Check: 18 

 Sanjay makes it through the shuttered windows cleanly, and casts Entangle immediately.  Lucky for him, there's an open door from the room he's in straight out to the front of the shop.  Elf 1 is too far ahead already, near the front doors, but Elf 2 is within the range of the spell.

Elf 2 Strength : 6 

Elf 2 is entangled.

((I'd like to ready an action. Thistle will pull out her bow and if the unrestrained elf goes to make an attack, she will shoot it.))

"Who are you?" Thistle shouts at them.
