Fearing that the Transmuter and Apprentice are fleeing to go get help, Mongo chases after them and attempts to hack the Transmuter down before they can bring more enemy to the party:

Apparently there is now pudding splattered all over the room, to go along with the JELL-O from the previous battle.  Mongo: "I'm beginning to think this is going to give me nightmares about evil desserts!"

He'll quickly wipe his daishō clean and sheath the blades, then look through the bodies and room for any clues as to what the heck these Red Wizards are up to, such as details of the Phylactery Vault location (Perception: 21).
