Mongo: “Surely you can’t be serious. First of all, I don’t need to drink fluids. Secondly, I’ve seen how you fleshlings enjoy peeing in your own bath water. The Gods only know what vile substances you dirty beings have urinated into there!”
John Lee slaps the metal man on his shoulder as walks by. "Seriously Mongo Man? I assumed you a top candidate for a golden shower. I'm slightly disappointed." The wizard moves a bit closer to the pool and begins casting a detect magic ritual. "Let's see what exactly is going on here.."
“... How does a lubrication shower work?” Amelia asks, her curiosity piqued:

"That is indeed a very good question."Taeli smirks. "If he, or she, answers that, let me know. I am curious as well, to be honest."she does her best to hold in a laugh.
Mongo calls out over his shoulder "Hey John Lee! Looks like all the ladies here 'ave never heard of a shower before. What say you and I bring them all to Roscoe's after this mission? You buy all the drinks, and I buy all the dancers. We'll teach these unrefined soldiers how to have a good time!" before he tactically backs away from the lake, and heading towards the next area (room 54?).
John Lee chuckles, "It's a date, big guy. If we survives this crap. Let's avoid this pool. I think it would leave us with one hell of a hangover." He moves back from the pool. "Let us carry on and such, my friends. There surely are more interesting ways to die than drinking from an abyssal cesspool."

Kit stares at the ceiling for a long moment to remind herself of all the reasons she can't just drop Mongo in the lake, and continues on to Room 54.
"Wic, what are you doing here? I thought you were dead!" Kit shakes her head. "More importantly, what the hell are you doing wearing the livery of the man who had our family murdered?"
"It's a long story. What are you doing here?"
"That's...also a long story...why don't you just come back-" Kit's voice cut off as the sound of heavy boots sounded around the corner. "Shit! We have to get out of here, come on!" She gestured for her brother to follow her, and the pair took off away from the guards.
"Not that way!" Wic said quickly, pulling her down a side hall. "I know another way."
The two raced through the manor, down a series of twists and turns, but suddenly skidded to a stop as the came back out into a main hall, right in front of a patrol. Kit's hand went to her bow, nocking an arrow. "Shit! This may turn ugly."
"No, Kit," Wic's voice came from behind her as his hand fastened around her wrist, stopping her from drawing her bow back. "It's already turned ugly." His hand tightened around her wrist and he twisted it sharply, causing the arrow to fall from suddenly-numb fingers.
Kit felt the prick of a dagger beneath her chin, the slight burn of pain nothing compared to the jolt of betrayal raging through her. "You..." Her voice was thick with anger and grief. "You were here because...you're really with him..."
"Indeed," came a cold, male voice, and the man that ordered the deaths of her family came into view around the corner. Duke Belt was in plate armor, with a sword at his side and eyes dark with anger. "The two of us agree on much. Including the proper state of your kind. Which is dead."
Tears pricked at Kit's eyes as fury raged through her. "I'm going to kill you."
"No," Belt replied icily. "You're going to die, and then there will only be one member of your little family left for me to worry about causing me trouble. Wylan, finish her."
Kit didn't wait for Wic to follow Belt's orders. She moved in a whip-like, fluid motion, the dagger scoring a shallow line across her throat as she drove her elbow into his face. She ducked out of the hold and bull-rushed her brother into the Duke, sending both tumbling as she turned and ran down the corridor, rapidly shapeshifting her features and activating the shiftweave Tun lent her. By the time she rounded the second corner, she looked like a nondescript guard. Kit wiped the tears from her eyes and raced for the servant's entrance. She had to tell Tun about Wic's betrayal. Together, the two of them would put their traitorous brother through a hell so horrific, he would envy even Belt.

John Lee, you can easily detect that drinking the water will have some kind of damaging necromantic effect to the imbiber.
