The gnomes bid you farewell. Roondar excuses the kings absence, saying that they have much work to do now that a dragon is known to be in the area.
The air feels colder than yesterday, but there are no clouds over the mountains. You walk back to Umbrage Hill, where Adabra lives in the old windmill, trying to spot more mistletoe for her. On your way you notice a lone eagle flying over you, causing Sabastian to hide in Lia's arms until it goes out of sight.
OOC: a nature check would help gather the mistletoe.
As he begins to feel the colder air, he will use Primeval awareness
Rhok's ranger senses don't detect any aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends or undead in the vicinity.
The trip is mostly uneventful, you spread out to search the few trees in the area. Sabastian calms as soon as the eagle is out of sight, but enjoys being carried a bit too much to let it show.
Rhok and Xarroth both come back with bundles of what they believe is mistletoe, only for them to notice that their plants are nothing alike the ones they had previously collected. Lothlién has an easier time with the plants and returns with a good amount of the real mistletoe.
After a couple hours of travel, you see Adabra's windmill. The midwife is outside, tending to a large cauldron bubbling over a firepit.
Rhokwaves his hand to Adabra in a hello fashion and follows Lia up to the windmill. He also asks the group "Hopefully we don't run into that Manticore again"
The sky is clear, no flying manticores on sight at least.
Adabra returns Lia's greeting "well met indeed, I'm just finishing the first boil for my potion brewing." She keeps stirring the cauldron as she talks "after this cools I would need to add the mistletoe. I planned to gather some this evening, but if you have collected enough I can finish packing my stuff and move back into Phandalin."
"I must also say thank you again for that healing potion, it has come in quite handy. Moving back to Phandalin you say? Have you seen anything flying about?" Rhok asks inquisitively
Adabra examines the mistletoe you have "it should be enough for this batch and most of the next. Well done!" She turns to Rhok "no dragons if that's what you are asking, but I spent the past days grinding ingredients here. I'll have no need for this windmill in a while at least and the town may need a healer. I can travel tomorrow and with Chauntea's help I'll have time to set up my place before any emergencies."
The midwife takes the mistletoe inside and comes back shortly to stir the cauldron again.
"I guess we should keep going?" Lothliénsuggests to the group. He politely bids farewell and wishes luck to the midwife on their way out.
OOC: I think DragonDenn and I posted at the same time. Lothlién would vote for keep going, but if more people wants to stay and escort her, that's alright
"We do need to let the Townmaster know that everyone has been warned, so the sooner we get back, the better the town can be prepared. Although, Adabra, would you like an escort to town tomorrow? I'm sure you know these roads better than we do, and the dangers that lurk along them. We would not be opposed to helping you have safe passage to town." Rhok says to the group and to lady Adabra
Adabra keeps stirring as she answers "thank you for your offer, although more than an escort what I could use are some extra hands. There are many items here that would be useful, but I can't carry them all in a single trip."

Lia just lets the others look for the plant, content to hold her familiar as the eagle circles overhead.

"Will that be enough?" Lia asks.

"Sounds good to me." Lia confirmed. "Let's head on to town now and, if wanted, we can come back out tomorrow to help with the treck into town."
Xarroth nods with agreement with Lia's way of thinking, open to travelling here tomorrow to help.
Adabra keeps stirring as she answers "thank you for your offer, although more than an escort what I could use are some extra hands. There are many items here that would be useful, but I can't carry them all in a single trip."
"Then we return in the morning to aid you." Lia confirms, before heading off with the others towards town.
