Balassar just watches the interaction eyeing the bodyguards. He just stays quiet as Surina finishes up their business and the dwarves leave. He then takes in her demeanor a little confused "Yeah we got in last night, though I'm a little confused by such a cold reception Surina." He just looks around looking for signs of his father "Where's father?"
Surina approaches slowly, the cold expression turning to burning anger. "Where's father? Where's father?" She takes a deep breath, and the bursts into peals of laughter. "He's out back, of course. Welcome home, big brother." And she embraces you, her strength no less impressive than you remember - it's not easy to draw breath in that hug.
Alton watches the interaction from waiting to see when it's okay to enter. He gets a cheeky smile on his face when he sees Balassar's sister hug him and nudges Silent with an elbow saying in a low voice, "How funny would it be if I cast that spell to make Balassar bigger right now."

Balassar just smiles hugging her back “Apologies sister, it’s been rough.” He just looks to the door as he lets her go “Like ya to meet some friends, if they’d come in here. The short musical one is Alton, the taller quieter one is Silent.”
Alton gives a flamboyant bow, the end of his topknot brushing the floor, “A pleasure.” As he comes up from the bow, he acts like he is dusting off part of his clothes, sending a dust of iron filings in Balassar’s direction and says, “Give you sister another hug and show her how strong you’ve gotten on your travels.” Proceeding to cast [Tooltip Not Found] on Balassar.
((OOC: A note on the spell, it does say that if the space doesn’t allow for the size change the creature or object attains the maximum size possible in the space available. So, I’ll leave that up to Balassar and the DM if his size actually changes from medium to large.)

Balassar, you are fully caught up in the hug when you feel the magic take effect. You grow to full size - this is not a small room and there's enough space - just - to accommodate you. Surina pulls away from the embrace, shock on her face - but she sees that you're not bothered by the transformation and relaxes, a smile returning to her face. "This is... well, what in the world is this? Your friends I assume? Tell me that's not going to last all night? You won't get through the doors like this."
She turns and faces Alton and Silent, who I think are still just outside, looking in. "Well, come on in. I'm Surina. I expect my brother has told you all about me. I imagine you can barely get him to stop talking for a second. He was always such a chatterbox."
Alton chuckles as he enters the house, "This isn't even his full height now, we'd probably want to be outside for that. Though, I would think the city folk might get startled if a dragon just suddenly appears in the middle of Zedash." He lets the spell drop so Balassar can return to his normal size. "Oh yes, Balassar has sung your praise since the moment I met him; but he failed to capture just how beautiful you are, Surina." He flashes her a smile.

Alton, Surina snorts with amusement, and her eyes flicker to Balassar and back to you, and then to Silent - who I think would get to his bow at this point. "The half-orc is winning at this point" she says, "but will it last?. Which of you will win the hand of the fair Surina? Hah! I'd better go get father - I don't think he's too busy at the moment. Close the door please," she says to Balassar as she walks off through a door. You are left, the three of you, alone in this room.
Balassar just smirks lightly "Gonna have to face your brother in a match before getting your hand."
He just looks to his friends as she leaves to get their father "Pretty much, though we don't get as much business as others. Was hoping to help change that a little. I need to follow up if Wash's friend actually did help them out."
Surina returns in a short while; with her, your father, moving briskly as he always had, with little sign that any time has passed at all. He walks over and embraces you without speaking; you know that this is his way, a man of few words but great love for his family. He pulls back, smiles as he looks you over, and then turns to greet your friends. "I am Tarhun Silverstone, and glad to meet you." and will shake your hands with the firmness you'd expect from a smith, unless you attempt to resist.
The niceties done, you are all invited to dinner with the family. You spend the rest of the day relaxing and chatting with Balassar's father, who is a very welcoming host, while Surina gets on with her business. You go to the family's home above, leaving the workplace to Surina and her customers - and it's clear the shop is busy. Balassar, with a little time to look around and let everything sink in, you can tell that the business is doing well, very well. Tarhun puts it down to a combination of luck, hard work and the war - always good for business those who make and repair weapons and armour.
The afternoon passes, and Tarhun prepares the evening meal - a familiar casserole that Balassar will recall from his childhood as a staple of the family with plenty of healthy root vegetables for growing dragonborn to sink their teeth into. You sit in the main room of the small attic - a kitchen, dining and living area combined, as this is not a spacious home. The one surprise is that Surina brings a guest, a young brass dragonborn who seems a little nervous but shakes your hand warmly. "This is Torn", she says, "my boyfriend". She says that at the moment he and Balassar are shaking hands; Torn swallows, looks a little nervous, and continues with the shake.
(You're at dinner. You can discuss specific subjects, ask direct questions, or just enjoy the evening.)
Balassar for once appears truly relaxed as he talks with his family. As dinner approaches and the new guest is introduced he just nods holding out his hand adding a little more strength then needed "Pleasure to meet you Torn."
He just looks around the table taking a relaxing sigh "Is good to be back. How's business been going? I've been trying to make connections when possible."
"Some good business from Hupperdook", Tarhun says, "which I gather was your doing, is that right? Fella mentioned you'd been of some help to his boss there, is that right? We're on our fourth order for him - part of the war effect. Lots of sword, some armour, and some... weird little clockwork things. Not my type of thing, but Surina's been doing all sorts of interesting things. Don't know that they're for, mind you. We ship them off and I suppose they get assembled on the other end."
"I have some ideas", Surina adds, "but the client doesn't want us to know, so I'm not going to go chatting about my speculations..." She glances at Alton and Silent, in a polite but firm way. "Not even to your best buds over there. There's been a good amount of other work too. We're doing well. Really well. We've hired on more help, and... well, I don't suppose you're thinking of sticking around for a while? We could use you."
Alton’s ears perk up hearing about the orders from Hupperdook and gives Balassar a knowing side glance. “That’s okay, I’m sure those ideas would go over my head. Though, a lot of things go over my head.” He chuckles at his own joke.

Does Silent respond to Alton? Does Alton do the thing?
To Alton, Silent rubs his beard and whispers, Eh, might punch a hole in their roof... which would be hilarious, I say go for it.
Silent raises a hand and bows slightly to Balassar's sister. Pleasure.

Before we go on, Surina wants to know (and the DM wants to know!) if you're sticking around for a few days. It really is up to you...
