Balassar, you are keeping watch around midnight. There are clouds covering the moon and your eyes are not great in the dark, but you hear a movement... could be a small nocturnal animal, could be something else. It came from south of the tower, where you know there are some thick bushes and part of what seemed to be a ruined wall.
Balassar, you draw your weapon and approach. There's no visible sign of anything amiss, but as you step you hear a very faint sound... perhaps the breathing of a creature or person, it's almost imperceptible but your instincts are warning you that you're not alone. Nevertheless, all you see is a small patch of unremarkable bushes and stones from the mostly-collapsed wall - no more than three feet in height at any point.
Nothing happens. You don't see or hear anything else. You approach the apparent source of the noise, but the air is still and you begin to wonder if you imagined hearing something.
From the darkness comes a calm voice in a rather unusual accent, but still clearly comprehensible common:
I would suggest, friend, that you return to your camp, sleep until morning and then be on your way as though you had found nothing here.
After your shift ends, you hand over to Silent, and the rest of the night is untroubled. You all awake in the morning having completed a long rest, the ruined tower looking a bit less creepy in the light of dawn.
Alton wakes up and shivers in the cold morning air. He turns and digs through is pack looking for an extra shirt to throw on and hopefully warm up a bit.

Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
You set up the camp in the ground floor of the crumbling, ruined tower and settle down for the night. Wash and Trogdor will take the first watch:

It passes without incident, though Trogdor seems a little agitated, but won't say about what.
Can I have two more Perception checks to cover the night?

Just waiting to check if Balassar is doing anything in response to the not very much that he heard... :)
Balassar will just get up and draw his sword and shield deciding to investigate.
OOC:
my bad sorry.

Balassar just sighs “if you can understand this. Come on out, don’t make me come to you.”
No response.
Balassar carefully approaches with his shield raised ready for an attack.

Balassar, please make a WIS save.
Wis Save: 22
The Suggestion spell takes effect, so you will now need to follow the suggestion you received.
Balassar just blinks as he begins to head back and resume his shift.
After your shift ends, you hand over to Silent, and the rest of the night is untroubled. You all awake in the morning having completed a long rest, the ruined tower looking a bit less creepy in the light of dawn.
What would you like to do?

(OOC: Would Balassar have been able to mention anything to Silent during the shift change, or would the Suggestion spell have stopped him?)
(OOC: No, it would not have occurred to him to do so. After all, he didn’t find anything...)
Balassar just stands up looking around "Alright mates, should we keep going?" he asks just checking his sword and shield as he adjusts them.
Silent nods and helps clear out the camping gear. Let's the hit the road.
