Balassar walks in a realizes he forgot to grab the room keys, he runs out to grab then from Alton and then runs back I. To grab some sleep before his shift.
Is Alton standing watch with the carriage? If so, a member of the inn's staff does come to ask him to move it into a side alley out of the street, as the Crownsguard will be happier.
Is Silent joining Balassar to rest?
Alton, give me a Perception check for first watch. Are you doing anything while standing guard?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alton will be watching the carriage and moves it to where the inn staff say to park. Aside from attending to the horses, he will sit by the back of the carriage casually strumming his lute keeping watch. Perception: 15

Silent nods at Balassar's suggestion and offers to take the third and last watch before sunrise (if they're splitting the watch schedule three ways). If the others agree, he'll head up to his room to get some sleep before waking up for the watch.
Atlon waves at Balassar and Silent as they go inside, "Get some rest guys, and don't try to drink everyone under the table."
While Alton strums his lute on his watch, he will remember that strange tune from one of the music boxes. He'll make sure that no-one is paying attention to him before popping into the wagon. Once settled inside with the door closed, he'll look at the two prisoners, "Hey, so I know you probably don't really like us but I have this tune in my head. Actually, it is in a music box I have, but anyway; I was wondering if either of you recognize it." He will then begin to play that strange tune from the music box.
((Need me to make another perception check?))

Alton smiles and just keeps playing the tune, “It is a very nice tune, too bad I don’t know the name of it. I guess I’ll have to come up with one, and maybe put some words to it too. Maybe I can give it something catchy, like Man of Constant Sorrow or Down on the Corner.”

Alton sighs at the silence, "Well, that's a shame. I'd really like to give proper credit to the tune." He gets up and exits the back of the wagon, sitting on the edge until the next shift in the watch.

Balassar, the time for your shift approaches. Do you go down? If so, give me a Perception check and let me know how you pass the time and whether you engage with the prisoners in any way.

Balassar walks into the carriage holding enough food for the two prisoners and some drink. He just looks at Alton “Figured they might be hungry if they weren’t already asleep.”
He then turns towards the prisoners “We can chat or sit here in silence, I’ll leave that up to you all.”
Balassar, you sit in silence as your watch passes without incident. The prisoners make no move to engage with you; once again, they show remarkable discipline.
Silent (probably waking up with the beginnings of what's going to be a bad hangover) makes his way into the cart and sits down heavily. He says nothing for about a hour, thinking and listening in silence before saying, Find something I'm willing to die for. He shifts to look at the the drow and says, You're right. But who said it needed to be a throne or a crown? Coin, drink... and maybe, if the gods are good, a chance at helping the folk getting bled dry on both sides of the border. Yeah, that's what I'll put my life on the line for. Those three things. And helping you lot, well, it's obvious now that's not something I can do.
He rubs his head and chuckles. It makes no matter. You don't give a damn about my excuses. Just rambling to myself here. Again.
"Hopefully it will be just until the morning." Alton replies.

Balassar just steps down "Hopefully, just shout real loud if you need us." he says retreating into the tavern for some rest.
Is Balassar going to the common room? Or headed straight for the rooms? Alton has the keys...

Alton settles down and begins to play the strange melody that he first learned from the music box in Hupperdook.
Hmmm. Not another perception check, no. But if you're watching the two prisoners for any kind of reaction to the tune, give me an Insight check.
(I will assume you're splitting the watch three ways, with Alton first, Balassar second and Silent third, yes?)

They react. Very slightly. They are very much in control of themselves, and you see only a flicker of recognition. But they do not speak.

The response is a stony silence.

Balassar just sits pulling out a chunk of wood and a knife as he just begins to carve an image out of the wood.
Balassar's turn on watch comes to an end. I assume he goes to fetch Silent?
If so, can Silent also give me a Perception check and tell me what you do during your period of watch.
