This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Silent, you enjoy the music, and chatting to children who seem, after their initial nervousness, to like talking to you, especially as you seem happy to talk to them.
Magnum, you notice one small child's hand slip into Silent's coin pouch and remove a few coins before scurrying away.
Silent, remove 4 gold coins - you have not noticed this, however.
If the band shows no signs of slowing down Silent will ask Magnum: Anything you wanted to check out? I know you don't eat or drink much but are you able to... uh... process it if you partake?
Fair enough. Well the night is growing long - think I'll take the opportunity to pick up some more rations and maybe ask the locals if they've seen anything odd around these parts. Reckon those fishpeople I pissed off might be plotting their next move.
Silent, you move over to the area where people are eating and drinking. Food will cost you three copper pieces for a meal; it's actually quite good food, despite the low price, but it hasn't been dried and prepared to work as trail rations.
I said, says a loud, angry voice behind you, give me more ale, and be quick about it, boy.
You turn, and see a heavy-set bearded man wearing beaten-up leather armour, scowling at a younger man dressed like most of the villagers. I'm very sorry, sir, the villager replies. but Pa says you've had enough, and...
The bearded man grabs the villager and shoves him. Ale, now, or there'll be trouble! He makes a grab at a tankard that a young woman is carrying past, manages to get a hold of it, and downs it in one. That's better. He looks around at the crowd. What are you all looking at?
Who said that? the man shouts, his face turning even redder. These things don't have voices of their own, everyone knows that. So which one of you dungpiles was it?
You notice that there are several other men, wearing similar armour, now coming from the crowds or the dancing, standing nearby, just watching.
An older woman comes running up. Please, we don't want any trouble, there's no need....
The bearded man shoves her to the side and looks at Silent, and spits on the ground. An orc with a biographer. He laughs, and the other men follow suit. Well, let's see if we can't pull this hunk of metal apart, shall we?

(OOC-Hahahahha. A nat 20 on a skill I have a -1 on. And my first roll!)
Silent solemnly informs the children that his blade has slain many a foul dragon.

I’m afraid you’ve been robbed. One of the children managed to get into your coin pouch.
Silent checks his pouch and chuckles, the weariness of the last few days leaving his face.
Much obliged Magnum - but no hunting necessary, the little tyke only scored a single coin. If you see the lad or lass who did it, point 'em out to me.
Magnum, you do think you could recognise the child again if you saw them.
Are you staying to watch the band, or moving somewhere else?

I don't have a mouth. Or a digestive system. So, to answer your question, no.

(OOC: Have we discussed the fish people?)

Magnum, believing this to be a serious question, responds, A portly, belligerent drunk.
(OOC: Dude I love Magnum. Also yeah Silent would have filled him in on the sahuagin plot - I guess we can RP that conversation later)
Silent cranes his neck to look at the scene but for the moment he remains quiet while Magnum speaks, thoroughly amused.
Hmmm...perhaps that wasn't the best way to put that. A fat, rude alcoholic? A porcine, boorish dipsomaniac? How about corpulent, ignorant inebriate?
Who said that? the man shouts, his face turning even redder. These things don't have voices of their own, everyone knows that. So which one of you dungpiles was it?

Silent reclines in his seat and raises a hand. I assure you friend, my biographer here has a way with words. Now... who was the dungpile again?

He moves to make a grapple attack on Magnum.
Roll initiative, please.
