Late to the 'party', Thurmun finally finds his hidden vantage point and lets fly his 'Advespa Stingers'! Not really Advespa stingers, but that is what he likes to call them. He'd shout that out and all but since he 'took so long getting to cover', he'd hate to ruin it. Besides, he doesn't really care if you know that he is scared shitless of these giant Underdark hornets the size of bears. Yeah people, BEARS! And you in your other virus infected realms thought murder hornets were big 'n' nasty. Look em up, I dare ya!

"Trust in your friends, and they'll have reason to trust in you."
"Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing."
Having missed his initial Guiding Bolt and seeing the Griffon leaving with its prey, Enzo moves towards the man hiding behind the cart to see if he is okay.
While loudly reassuring his friends. "Fear not friends, Pelor has other plans for that beast"

Thurmun exits cover and watches the weirdie birdie fly off as he makes his way to the cart and its owner. He scans the contents to make sure no one was inside it at the time off the attack (and to quickly catalog its contents).

"Are ye ok fella? Good thing we came by ta save ya. That birdie a ate ya fer sure! To bad it got away, I sure hope it dun come back. We used a lot o' resources gettin' it off ya..." Thurmun is putting considerable effort into coercing the victim into compensatory payment, without actually saying it.
With a wary eye to the apparently departing griffon (ready to hurl another fire bolt should it show signs of returning), Daxori makes her way back out onto the road and walks towards Belorin to see if he was harmed by the griffon's attack.
"I was all for letting the beast leave with its supper unmolested, until it decided to attack Belorin. After that I felt I had no choice but to encourage it to leave. Luckily, it doesn't seem to have required too much encouragement, as it would have been a real shame to have to kill such a magnificent specimen," she says to no one in particular, then inquires, "Belorin, did it injure you?"

"Ah well, since ya insist, wouldn't want ta insult ya..." Thurmun says 'sincerely'. "T'would be rude ta refuse genrous rewards fer riskin' life 'n limb ta protect our new ... friend?" He obviously leaves off the victim's name leaving opportunity for him to supply it. "But tha first thing I wanna do is 'make sure you are ok' an' no in need of bandagin' 'n tha like..."
Thurmun scans the gentlemen and deftly pats him down, 'looking for injury' as he helps him away from the wreckage to sit on a comfortable tuft of grass on the roadside.

Drayman Perception roll: 20
Thurmun finds the following;
A bag of carefully wrapped sweets.
"I am sorry I have no money for a reward, but if you every go to the village of Verge, go to the Boar's Head and my cousin Sebastian Tullus will look after you. Just tell him Drayman sent you."
Still alert for any sign of the griffon returning, Daxori deftly pulls out pen, ink and paper and makes a note of the encounter, Drayman and his possibly helpful cousin at the Boar's Head in Verge, then just as deftly stows it all safely away again. All the while waiting patiently for Belorin to determine if he was injured by the griffon.
Belorins eyes still watching the direction that the griffin flow off in, he snaps back in to the moment in he's slow methodical way saying.
"O, I'm all right Miss Daxori. Not a scratch, But what about you sir are you going to be alright as you are. Did you need any more help. Is your cart still usable."
"I'm relieved to hear that Belorin, it certainly looked like it was a close thing," Daxori replies with visible relief.
Turning her attention to the Drayman she states reassuringly, "Nothing to be sorry about Mr. Drayman, we require no reward. We're just glad we were nearby and able to get here in time to save you from a horrible fate. Tell me, are such beasts a common hazard on this road?"
As he slides the sweets into his leave Thurmun says, "If ya could jus' let 'im know Daxori's Defenders would love ta grace 'is establishment at some point. He might sweeten 'is prices fer our defenses of tha localfolk."
Thurmun smiles to himself at the slyness in his statement. "If'n yer ok friend Drayman, others be need'n our help." He gives a slight bow, "Travel safe."
As Thurmun walks away with his friends he mumbles, "Bah, no coin ta be had there... maybe some kin be found visitin' the Boar's head after our adventure. Ah well, are we ready ta go?"
