The man grins. "I meant no offense to you, my friends. I was simply calling on your good natures, my master is in dire need of your help. As for his knowledge of such things...my master is quite a remarkable man." he finishes, shrugging. He doesn't wait around for any more questions, stalking off from your table.
Amid the silent stares of the patronage, the ***** strides to the bar and says to the wary barkeep, “Fill the glasses, one and all. Their throats are obviously parched.” He drops a purse heavy with gold on the bar. With that, he leaves.

"What is this Svalich Woods, then? Is that where your Helms Hold is, Mr. Elias?" Nebin peers up at the letter, unable to get a good view. "I think this place was called Neverwinter?" Nebin looks down at Elias' map, trying to find the Savlich Woods.
Well if mister man is paying, I am suddenly drinking whisky Rontevich says, ordering a glass I never did interpret that as an insult, Elias, I think it was just flowery writing. Gotta say, I'm kinda inclined to take this Indirovich up on the offer. This is exactly the way heroic journeys begin, don't you think. He shares the seal with the rest of the table. R also directs a nod at the firbolg - we'll talk about the deficiencies of deities later

Elias looks at Nebin and says: "No my friend. Helms Hold is supposed to lie South East of Neverwinter. The ***** said to take the road to the West"
replying to Rontevich with: "I haven't read the letter yet. My response was to the attitude the ***** put forth....saying if we be men of honor we will rush to the aid of his master. I also am not one to turn down a bit of adventure especially if it is to help those truly in need but if one is truly in need they do not need to disrespect those they seek aid from."
"Mr. Elias, I think your map's bad. You should get your money back, I say. No Svalich Woods anywhere, you see?" Nebin points at the area around Neverwinter. "Five hours of walking would only be 15 miles, 20 if the road was bad. It should be right here!" Nebin pushes the map away. "We should help, I say. There's an injured lady out there being menaced, and I won't stand for it. I won't. It' just not right..." Nebin trails off a bit at the end, seemingly staring at something deep beneath the floorboards.
Guenhyvar leans back in his chair, waving away the offer for another drink, at which point some might notice that he hasn't actually finished his first yet, "I don't know anything about this place or this lordling, but that is reason enough for me to investigate. And it seems I will be in good company."
Isn't west towards the ocean? The west road must turn. Nevermind, I'm sure we'll find it. What could go wrong? R says without irony.
I still don't hear it as insult, more a call to action he answers E I admire your honor Elias my friend, but you have to be careful detecting insults to it As they eat and drink and plan, Rontevich tells about Xury the bugbear breaking his chains, and the futile fight he and Manju had with the guards, playing up the humor. He concludes Of course the story cannot be exactly like my da told it. Chains don't break into multiple pieces like that

A smirk crawling across his face "I've known a few like that, not the smartest but always dependable for a good time." Glancing over the offer situated on that table "What could it hurt? Worst case we get there, something doesn't seem right and we just leave."
"So it is agreed on then. We will go and look into this 'problem'. We rest tonight and strike out on the West road in the morning?" Elias will ask the group.
Once Rontevich points out that the only thing west of Neverwinter is the ocean, Nebin laughs a big, hearty laugh. "Do you see?! Your map IS bad, Mr. Elias! Missing woods, seas in the wrong place. I'd get my money back, I would!" Nebin laughs far too long and far too hard at this. Eventually the laugh tapers off and no trace of mirth is left in his eyes. Nebin runs his hand through his shaggy dark hair and says, "I'm so tired." He hops off the stool and over to the innkeeper, with whom he secures a room for himself for the night.
At Nebin's request, the man shakes his head. "Apologies to ye, young master, but we don't be havin' any rooms left fer tonite, not even for small folk. Best try yer luck in town."

Nebin sighs. "It's been so long since I slept in a bed, you see? Though it's also been almost as long since I slept under the stars." Nebin looks down at his stained and dirty clothes. "Have you anywhere I could wash up, at least?"
Nebin excuses himself from the group and heads toward the wash room. Some time he returns wrapped in a human-sized towel, draped and piled around him. He sets his clothing, damp but well wrung, on the hearth and rejoins the group. His dark, ragged hair is gone, his scalp stubbly and pale. "Whenever you all are ready to leave I will gather my things." Nebin says somberly, fiddling absentmindedly with the a corner of the oversize towel.
