Ursula breathes a sigh of relief after pausing for half a minute to see if the sounds of the battle summoned more enemies. Turning to her companions with a grimace, she whispers Let me sneak ahead quicklike and see if there are any more beasties about. If ye hear me yellin', come get me.
Ursula will then creep forward, trusting to the shadows and her Darkvision to protect her. [[Stealth -- 10 ]]

Ursula's Perception: 11
Ursula takes a peek around one of the cave walls. She sees a large chamber beyond. Green fungi grows on the walls, emitting a faint light. A giant dragon’s skull dominates this damp, 15-foot-high cave. You see no other remains, suggesting that the skull was brought here from elsewhere. Beyond the great skull, a dribble of water pouring through a crack in the ceiling forms a shallow pool nearly 20 feet across and 10 feet wide. Closer to you is a pit filled with some kind of oily liquid. You can see two more of the toad monsters standing near the dragon skull. You can see the shadow of something moving inside the skull.

Ursula reports back to the rest of the party. I can see at least two more toadguards ahead, an' somethin' sneakin' about that I couldn't see. Don' be alarmed, but there's a massey dragon's skull in the next room. I say we try to sneak our way there, Bram and Tofad can back us up if things get dicey, yea?
Tafod nods in agreement, “Good idea, be good t’ ken what’s be sneakin’ round in there. I’ll be as close t’ th’ openin’ as possble whi’ oot bein’ seen.”

"You don't want me to come with you, do you?" Bram offers helpfully. At the look he receives in response, he rubs the back of his head and laughs a little. "Or, uh, yeah... I guess I can wait back here and keep watch for anything strange."
While waiting at the back for the others to finish scouting, Bram studies the ground, trying to see if he can determine how many toadies might be hiding in the cave from the markings on the floor and scuff of usage along the walls.
Bram figures that there can't be more than a dozen toadies that live in the cave.

Quyst trips and nearly falls on her face as she tries to sneak forward. From further into the cave you hear two croaking voices, and then one set of wet footsteps coming towards your hiding spot.

Quyst whispers some words under her breath, swinging her long, thin fingers around, and then touches Dapple near the colar bone. "I hope this can make up for my noise" she says, emitting a purpleish glow that surrounds her friend
„I think there aren’t more than a dozen here at the most,“ Bram whispers to the others, before raising his shield and preparing his crossbow to fire. A moment of inspiration makes him press against a wall so he‘s not immediately obvious as a target in the middle of the cavern.
The toadman walks through the gap in the wall that leads no the next room, straight into a trap! Davner's rapier swishes through the air towards the bullywug. Attack: 18 Damage: 9 Bram fires his crossbow! Attack: 26 Damage: 4

It then rushes back around the wall, where you hear several more croaks.

The oily pool ripples, then starts to expand. After a second, it becomes clear that it's not expanding, but moving out of its pit! Two large blobs of the stuff slowly start sliding towards you.

Davner having a hard time understanding what’s happening “Uhhhh, the goop is moving?!” He takes a dagger out and throws it at the moving puddle while then doing what he can to move away from it.

Bram is not a very smart boy, but even he knows getting hit by oily looking ooze is probably a bad idea. He takes as many steps back as he can from the blobs, and fires his bow at them.

“If you say so!“ he yells back to Davner, firing again: Attack: 13 Damage: 7
The projectiles from Tafod, Bram and Davner all hit the target, and one of the oozes loses its shape, spilling onto the ground around it. The other keeps crawling towards you. It's about 10 feet away from you, and 20 feet away from where it started.
