Bram leans over, panting, and takes a long look at Tafod. "You ok? It got pretty rough there," he says, straightening to wipe some sweat from his brow. "I think we struck them a fierce blow, but I don't reckon I want to be caught doing this again. Who knows what they'll send out this time? Probably a small army mounted on wyverns."
He takes his time to pick through the corpses, trying to recover his bolts, as well as looking for anything of value or use within the bandits' posessions -- particularly things that might help aid Dar Gremath's rebellion. He also takes a special care to recover his family's heirloom hand-crossbow. "Thank you, Quyst," he adds. "I guess I was really attached to this family bow of mine, but the one you gave me really turned the tide of the battle. At least, it did for me." He gives her a nod of appreciation. "I hope I can offer you something more appropriate than words to express my thanks in the future."
To Davner, he says "I know you were eyeing this bow too... which is why I want you to have this." He hands over the Moltenheim family hand crossbow to the bard. "It'll need a little tuning to get as good as this ebony one, but that bow has a lot of history in it. It's seen many of my family through some tough fights in the service of the Moltenheim mercenaries. I hope you'll be able to make good use of it."
"We should report back on our results to Dar Gremath," he adds when he finishes his search. "And we have to get in touch with Reithann somehow too, and tell him what came of clearing out those Bullywugs. Maybe he'll join up with this rebellion."
Quyst approaches Tafod too, givinf him a timid hug "Damn, that looked nasty. You OK?"
She turns to Bram after he talks "Those words are much more appropriate than me when taking the crossbow. I should have known I wouldn't be able to handle it properly, as you did."
