Iri walks over and starts sniffing the goats until someone tells her to shift back. "Hey guys, did you know ogres taste like chicken? They kinda stink though."
The ogres didn't have anything valuable on them. When you arrive in Phandalin, you head to Barthen’s Provisions to finalize the deal. You're free to go to the merchant’s establishment, or you can explore the town, picking up a wagon and the supplies needed by the town of Leilon.
Iri happily leads the goats to their destination and mentions when they are delivering them, "Man it was crazy getting these up here. There were dragons and ogres harassing us the whole way. Did you know ogres taste bad?"
Tex will see about the purchase of Leilon’s wagon of supplies, inviting Anyone who wants to come with him. Afterwards he’ll head to the sleeping giant to wait for everyone to be done with their business, while getting something to drink.

Iri will spend the rest of the day looking through town to see if she can find any magic items being sold in town. Especially interested in finding any staffs. As she wanders the streets, she hums a happy tune and stops in any shops that have strange trinkets or shiny things and buys some of those trinkets. She gives a few of them to young kids on the streets and smiles as they hurry to their families happily showing off the strange items she gave them.
"And if I see you walking around with a chipped sword again, I'll take a similar chunk out of you!" Dana finished, glaring the recruit down. He gulped and nodded, racing away to sharpen the offending weapon. Dana sighed and shook her head, turning away. Her face lit up in a smile as she saw the dark-skinned half-elf ducking in the door of the guard station. "Well, well, look what the crag cat dragged in." She pulled Vi into a tight hug. "How was Leilon?"
"Oh, you know. In ruins and under extraplanar attack. Killed some water weirds, transported some goats, fought some ogres." Vi grinned. "How about I buy you lunch this time, and we can swap stories?"
"Wyverns? Seriously? You seem to be progressing to a regular dragon fighter." Dana smiled and took a bite of her sandwich. "Well, draconic fighter. I'd say slayer, but you haven't actually killed any." She poked Vi's arm teasingly.
"It's not my fault they keep flying off! I can do a lot, but not fly. Yet." Vi laughed as she picked up her second sandwich half. "Give it time, though. I'll get there." She winked.
Dana glanced around the grove the two women sat in. "This is a nice little spot. You find it when prowling the roads in search of bandits?"
Vi nodded, swallowing her bite. "It made a good resting spot and watch post."
"Well, I like this use too." Dana smiled at Vi.
"Me too," Vi agreed softly. The silence between the pair hovered for long moments before the half-elf's eyes lit up. "You know how to ride, right?"
Dana laughed. "Of course I know how to ride. But we're a bit short on horses right now."
Vi tsked. "Now then, Dana. Wizard, remember?" She winked and pulled out her spellbook.
Ten minutes later, the pair were galloping along the road on a spectral horse with a mane and tail of silver flames, laughter and the occasional whoop trailing in their wake. Vi guided the steed off the road and up a hill, stopping the horse at the crest and hopping off. She grinned at Dana, her braids awry. "Pretty fun, right?"
Dana laughed, her own short hair mussed and sticking up. "Can't argue with you there."
This time, the silence only lasted for a moment before Vi leaned forward and kissed the captain.
Tex will spend his afternoon re acquainting himself with his tinker’s tools, having been peeking out the window as Iri was passing out toys to the kids.
he will craft a prototype clockwork toy, of a pink Tyrannosaurus rex that walks forward, swings its tail then bites at the air after winding up. He’ll be tinkering with it for a while.

Evening approaches. As you're securing the cart with the supplies ready to go back to Lelion, something occurs. Why can't anything just go smoothly? What is this? You see two groups approaching. A pale man is walking slowly escorted by seven ghouls into town? Oh, this can't be good. And from another side of time, another group? A woman escorted by six large kobolds, also heading towards town. This looks like trouble.
“Welp, our work is never done! I’ll go with Iri if the rest of y’all want to hold off the necromancer! First group done wins...and goes to help the others.” Tex will rush off after Iri.
