Arrin You reach out with your senses to find the creatures behind this, but once again there is nothing. You watch as the frog leaps away, seemingly escaping the group.
Leon You do see the frog moving away from the party, hopping about as if in search of something. You do not recognize the magic.
Orin You also see the frog hopping from place to place.
Zoya You don’t see any flies.
Arrin and Orin
As you watch the frog hopping away, you notice a sudden movement as another one of these mischievous creatures become increasingly visible. A bright, sparkly line of dust flies out of its hand and into the ground.
Everyone You see weeds and vines burst out of the ground and begin to wrap around your feet and legs. Everyone make a strength saving throw, including Zoya.
Zoya:
Your new form has taken away the strength you had as a half-elf. The lowest I could go is 3 for score overrides. Your strength and intelligence modifiers are actually -5
Cinta looked up suddenly as the vines restrained her, " Wow! Um, should we really be attacking powerful magicians such as these obviously are with sharp bits of metal?"
" I can't see that ending well for us....unless you like eating bugs."
Cinta smiled broadly and responded in kind, dredging up her aunts lessons from memory.
"My most humble apologies, Mighty One. We were sent here at the bidding of those who cut the trees, they wanted to know what they had done to earn your wrath. Unfortunately some of those I travel with aren't that bright and thought that they were under attack......it is a great shame but the one you turned into a frog was the one who was going to introduce us."
" Is there some way we could make our apologies and perhaps start over?"
Persuasion:20
Opening her hand she grew a delicate filagree of honeysuckle and moss into a tiny figurine and held it out to the fey being.
Leon, hearing words he cannot understand, and seeing his companion respond in kind, would step back, sword still at the ready, but doing nothing threatening until he hears more. "What is going on?" He would ask though.
You all hear the creature speak out, likely to its companions. All of them come out, and the one by Cinta seems to say something to her again.
Cinta:
In Sylvan, you hear the words: “She speaks the language of the woods! Come out, but be wary. The armed and dangerous ones escaped the vines’ grasp.”
The pixie looks back at you. “You come here on behalf of the tree cutters? Why should we even let you go? You know what we are, and they will not fear us once you tell them.”
((I frankly didn’t expect Cinta to be first in initiative. I thought the encounter would go on longer than this. You got them to be less hostile. They probably don’t trust you just yet, but they don’t seem to be planning to attack, so that is the end of the encounter. The question is: can you reason with them?))
Zoya sees herself surrounded and makes a leap away. And another one. Oh, how nice it is, everything so very green...
Her stomach is growling. Maybe from the excitement, maybe from hunger. She starts to look for some flies, already forgetting the feet around her.

One small being comes out of its invisibility right above your head and speaks in a language none of you seem to understand.
Cinta:
You hear the pixie speak in a familiar language, which you recognize as Sylvan. “You bring weapons and attack and want us to talk?”
What does Cinta do?
Cinta smiled broadly and responded in kind, dredging up her aunts lessons from memory.
