The three thugs look at one another, and the smallest of the three gestures at Peace, currently seeing him as the biggest threat. The two bigger humanoids will move towards him menacingly, one brandishing a pitchfork., the other with a rough hewn tree branch fashioned into a club.
They will each take a swing at Peace, the thug with the pitchfork aiming to impale Peace's chest, while the thug with the club looking to bring it over his head.
Pitchfork Attack (with advantage for pack tactics): 13 Damage: 7
Club Attack (advantage due to pack tactics): 7 Damage: 4
Peace, your combat instincts kick in and you are able to easily evade both attacks, stepping out of the way of the club, then using your maul to block the pitchfork and pushing your assailant back.
The third thug, the small humanoid rushes at Breyten, and will swing its sickle at him.
Sickle Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Breyten, you aren't so lucky. The masked vigilante with the sickle slashes at you, and you almost instinctively put your arm up to protect yourself and the sickle rakes across your arm as you feel a wave of pain and heat as your arm start to bleed from the nasty gash you received.
(Breyten you're up -- Peace and Rowan can roll attacks as well.)
Quickly dodging the clumsy attacks, Peace sighs heavily. "Very well. You have chosen your path, and I will help you along it." He takes a deep breath and swings at the one with a club with the Cruciate.
Peace looks pained at the damage he inflicts. He didn't want to hurt these individuals. But then he sees his charge's arm slashed open with a sickle, and he then swings again, aiming for the one with a pitchfork.
Breyten watched as his blood was spilled onto the floor, it sizzled a bit as it was exposed to air, a sight he had grown used to since the war. His deal had altered him in ways most wouldn't feign to understand, and now it was time to call upon that deal to try and subdue his attackers. He felt a prideful anger grow inside him, and he lowered his arms to his side as he leaned forward to assume an intimidating posture, his eyes began to glow a sickly green color and a sound that could only be described as mountains shattering began to emit around him.
"You were warned, and now you have trifled, leave now or before this is over I promise you it will be your blood emptied onto this floor!"
OOC: Breyten is calling upon his Archfey Patronage to frighten each creature within a 10ft cube of me (I am actually not sure whether this will effect my teammate or not, sorry if it does..) they must make a DC 13 wisdom save. If they fail the frightened condition will last till the end of my next turn.
(This would affect Rowan, Peace and Beard as well, so if the Rowan and Peace could roll a save too, that would be good)
Peace, you take advantage of the thug with the club's very poor form, and as he leans into his heavy club swing, you are able to bring your cruciate down onto the side of his head. He looks absolutely staggered by the blow and steps back, dizzy with the force you brought onto your swing. He looks to be in very poor shape already.
Then, just as he seemingly recovers, he catches a glimpse of Breyten's eyes beginning to glow and the unearthly sounds he is seemingly emitting. He points, wordlessly at Breyten, grabbing his pitchfork-wielding friend's shoulder in horror.
Sickle Thug: 16
Club Thug: 7
Pitchfork Thug:5
Beard: 8
The vigilante holding the pitchfork looks similarly stricken. "By the grace of Arawai, what is that thing? That's not natural, that ain't." The pitchfork thug says, voice quaking in fear. You can tell that they both are frightened and starting to rethink tangling with you..
Even Beard seems terrified. He backs up to the edge of the cell, far away from you all as possible and emits a small whimper of fear.
Only the thug with the sickle does not seem impressed. "Come on, this is just some parlor tricks. He bleeds like a man, he does. I bet he dies like one too." The thug says in a voice that is clearly female.

Though Rowan is clearly no trained combatant, she reacts quickly enough, taking a remaining step in Peace’s direction and swinging her quarterstaff at the fellow brandishing the pitchfork.
(Attack: 4 Damage: 5)
But it's difficult not to be temporarily distracted from this unexpected combat when Breyten makes his entrance -- with his eyes and the noises and -- well, it's all a touch unsettling. (Save: 25) But that's easily enough dismissed, and she finds the whole thing more delightfully theatrical than she does actively concerning.
Rowan, while the vigilante with the pitchfork is distracted, you are able to twirl your quarterstaff in an impressive flourish and deliver a heavy blow to the thug's midsection. The thug grunts as the wind is knocked out of him, and he turns in your direction and snarls.
Meanwhile, Beard still tucked in his jail cell, backed up against the wall is seemingly unable to even look at Breyten. He yells "Don't kill them! These scoundrels may be part of the frame up."
Initiative Order (Round 2)
Peace (roll a wisdom saving throw -- may need disadvantage on attack if failed)
Zeenon (can reach melee range with a Dash; with normal movement you would be in a ranged attack zone)
Korvash (can reach melee with normal movement this round)
Rowan
Thugs (Club Thug looks rough and seems to be considering bolting out of fear; Pitchfork Thug is frightened, but still in decent shape; Sickle Thug is untouched)
Zeenon (not dashing) stomps into the city hall. As soon as the thugs are in sight, the warforged announces while raising both of its arms so that the axes hang menacing in the air ready to fall on the nearest target, "Alert! Resuming [string of Gnomish words]! Prepare for —" The strong, monotonous robot voice hitches, and the scratchy Whiskers impression repeats, "Keep these four alive," before there is a second hitch, and the monotonous voice finishes, "battle!"
Intimidation: 6 +1 if you let me use strength instead of charisma
OOC: I guess he isn't as intimidating as I thought. ;)

Wisdom Save 7
Disadvantage Attack roll 24
Peace, suddenly struck with a blast of anxiety second guesses his swing, suddenly in dread of his ally. He doesn't let that get in the way of his work, though. He needs to disable these people so he can interrogate them. (He's going to try to go nonlethal)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Korvash is going to use his movement to reach the scene of the commotion. Seeing his friends being ambushed by thugs, he booms, "Don't hurt my friends!" Overcome with fury, he is going to swing his fist towards the face of the thug wielding the sickle (Attack: 12 Damage: 6), and then for his bonus action, he'll try to elbow the same thug in the chest (Attack: 13 Damage: 8). (Like Peace, he is just trying to knock her out.) "Alright, who's next?" he roars, trying to warn the thugs. (Intimidation: 15)
Peace, even with the distraction of Breyten's frightful presence, you are still able to focus using the anger management techniques you've been trying to teach Whiskers for years, and you take advantage of Rowan's strike on the thug with the pitchfork, and strike him right in the chest as ROwan already knocked the wind out of him. You hear the sickening crunch of ribs breaking, and now the pitchfork thug as equally hurt as his club-wielding compatriot.
Zeenon, your physical presence is certainly intimidating, but apparently something is a bit...off, about your vocal modulators. Your threat to commence hostilities is not really heard, and you see everyone in the room pausing for a brief second to try and figure out what you said.
Meanwhile, Korvash, you are able to burst into the room like a dragonborn possessed. Startled, the sickle thug has the presence of mind to duck her way out of your fist, but unfortunately, in so ducking, her nose is right in the path of your elbow. You too hear the sound of bones breaking, as the thug grasps her nose with her free hand. "You bathtard. You broke my nothe!" She looks at you now, with fury burning in her eyes.
(Rowan -- you have your turn from round 2 before the thugs go, then Breyten. Two of the thugs are very hurt, but the Sickle Thug just seems really pissed at the moment.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rowan glances quickly around at the rest of her companions, watching fleetingly as they stand their own ground — not the ones outnumbered, it would seem. “‘What was it you were doing, again? 'Gutting' us?” she asks brightly, before taking another swing at the pitchfork stranger’s neck. (Attack: 22 Damage: 9)
The thug with the pitchfork uses the pitchfork to parry your staff attack, breathing heavily. With the appearance of Korvash and Zeenon, it is clear that this fight is not going the way these vigilantes had believed it would.
The thug with the club uses his action to Disengage with you, Peace and starts to rush towards the way out, stopping right in front of Zeenon, the big warforged with his axes now coming into view. "Aaaah! Please don't hurt me. I'm leavin'!"
The pitchfork thug, seeing the way out blocked, will snarl at Rowan, and try to spear her in the ribs with the pitchfork, even though Breyten's presence still clearly makes him uneasy
Attack: 7 Damage: 5
Rowan, you easy step out of the way of the pitchfork as the thug embeds it into the wall. He grunts with the effort it takes to pull it out
Even the thug with the sickle, who is clearly the leader, is beginning to look wary of how outmatched they are. Her fury though boils over and she swings the sickle right at Korvash's head. "You'll pay for my nothe, lithard man!" She screams as she brings the sickle down.
Attack: 13 Damage: 7
Korvash, you grab her hand as the sickle comes down and force it into a different direction, and she slashes harmlessly at the air.
Breyten, still being threatened by the thug with the sickle did his best to Disengage and then took a few steps back, pulling the three stones from his pocket and enchanting them with a breath over top of them in his hand.
Standard Action: Disgengage
Move Action: Step back 10 ft, more if possible, not sure the dimensions of the inside of this location
Peace realizes that Breyton is getting backed into a corner, and tries to break with Pitchfork (probably an Attack of Opportunity). Peace will try to hit Sickle from behind (Maybe Flanking advantage?)
Attack: 15 Damage: 10 (If advantage, here's the other attack roll since Inline is broken) 8

It is at this point that Korvash realizes that violence will not solve the problem. But, if you start a fight, you better end it. Korvash will try to jab the sickle thug in the chest (Attack: 7 Damage: 5), again going nonlethal. If she gets knocked out, he will disengage and join Breyten at the back of the sheriff's office. If not, he'll use his bonus action to take another swing at her (Attack: 21 Damage: 5).

Rowan makes another attempt to thwack him with her quarterstaff, this time while he's focused on still removing his pitchfork from the wall, as Peace turns away from the man, hoping to catch him off-guard. (Attack: 17 Damage: 3 -- nonlethal.)
Pitchfork Thug will try and land an attack of opportunity on you, Peace, as you head towards the Sickle Thug and Breyten. He will swing the blunt end of his pitchfork, trying to catch you on the back of the head.
Attack: 15 Damage: 4
The pitchfork strikes your armor, but other than making a loud pitching ringing sound that echoes after the impact, you don't really even notice the attack.
Peace -- your attack on the Sickle thug from behind hits her hard, your cruciate striking her in the small of the back. She spins around hazily, seemingly barely holding onto consciousness. She snarls at the old tiefling, and while she is distracted, she leaves herself completely open to Korvash's unarmed strike into her chest. She collapses onto the dirty rough-hewn timber floor, completely unconscious.
Meanwhile, Zeenon, the club thug backs away from you as you swing your axes, now seemingly terrified. The thug is able to dodge one of the attacks, but he takes the other axe attack right at the base of his throat, and he collapses to his knees, and his hands move up to cover the hole in his throat. There is a beat, and then, he falls over, dead.
Rowan, the pitchfork thug ducks under your staff, but as he looks around and sees the two others, one unconscious, the other laying in a pool of blood. He puts his pitchfork on the ground carefullyand raises his hands. "I ain't dying for revenge. I don't care what anyone says."
(We can drop out of initiative order now -- unless Breyten wants to try and finish off the pitchfork thug)
