Anakis, satisfied there isn't anything down the halls, she creeps towards the large door and stops to listen for anything on the other side (Stealth: 16 and Perception: 20).
Torrent, holding a lit torch in his shield hand, carefully checks the area for any traps as he moves forward towards the door, followed by Tarek and Remacle, also bearing a torch of his own. Ash, examining the walls with his magically illuminated spear, is close behind with the rest of the halflings, while Nicolas keeps watch on the party's rear flank.
Aluzira, what are you doing while the party is moving toward the door?
Your attempt to listen at the door, Anakis, is suddenly interrupted by a shout from Nicolas and the halflings at the back of the party. "There's something coming!" he cries out.
You can see, Aluzira, that rounding the two corners behind you, are two groups of giant black centipedes, five centipedes in each group, each one more than a foot long. They immediately begin to rush towards you on their many legs, their jaws clicking hungrily as they approach.
Because your attention was focused on listening at the door, Anakis, you are surprised by the approach of the centipedes, as is Ash who was focusing his attention on searching for secret doors
Aluzira, you get to act first. I've labeled the rows and columns of the map-grid for ease of reference. I figure you're at F2 or G2 on the map. The C's are centipedes, only just beginning to be visible around the corners and rushing in to attack the party. The H's are halflings, etc. You can move through friendly-occupied spaces at half speed or you can ready your movement for when the halflings move out of your way. What do you do?
You can make it to the corner (E6) with just your regular move if you start from F2. Then you can ready a single melee attack in reaction to a centipede coming around the corner. Sound good?
As you move into position, Aluzira, Torrent also springs into action, dropping his torch and undoing his pack so it falls to the floor. "Time to squash some bugs," he says as he moves forward casting ice knife so that his spell is ready to use on the first centipede he sees that isn't within 5 feet of any of his allies.
"Hold 'em off," shouts Remacle, and a halfling with a shortbow and two with slings run forward and send missile volleys down both hallways at the approaching creatures.

The bowman and slingers then step back to give the rest of their companions room to move into position, ready to strike the first centipede that comes within reach.
Nicolas and Tarek also drop their packs to make themselves more agile. Nicolas stands behind the halflings, chanting arcane words, holding an eldritch blastready to target over the tops of the halflings' heads the first centipede that comes from the hallway on the left. Meanwhile Tarek moves up next to him, ready to throw a javelin at the first centipede he can target on the right.
Sorry Anakis, but you're surprised by the sudden appearance of the centipedes, so you can't move or ready an action (or take any action) on this turn. (Also, sorry to both of you that it's taking me this long to roll out this combat.)
An arrow skewers one of the leading centipedes coming down the hall on the left, and the halfling who shot it drops her bow and draws a sword.
One sling stone misses, but the other hits a centipede on the right, penetrating its carapace and killing it instantly.
The rest of the centipedes scurry forward down both halls towards you, climbing over and around their fallen colleagues. On the left, Medard, a halfling with a spear, blocks the way forward and is bitten at by an advancing centipede. Attack: 11 Damage: 5
As the centipedes come to the end of the hallway on the right, Aluzira, you have the opportunity to make your readied attack on the first one within reach.
The centipede's bite fails to penetrate Medard's leather armor, as he simultaneously attempts to stab it with his spear. Attack: 16 Damage: 3
Meanwhile, Torrent hurls a shard of ice at the centipedes coming down the left hall, aiming it over the heads of the halflings. Attack: 23 Damage: 4
As the shard explodes into a spray of ice, the centipedes attempt to scramble out of the way of the blast. Dexterity saves: 7, 16, 14, 5
On the right, another halfling with a spear standing adjacent to you, Aluzira, stabs at the centipede just behind the one in front of you. Attack: 8 Damage: 8

Torrent's shard kills the centipede at which it was aimed, and the centipede in the rear of the group on the left gets caught in the icy blast, taking 10 cold damage.

The jab of the halfling spearman next to Aluzira misses its mark as the centipedes continue to press forward, but Tarek takes aim and launches a javelin at it. Attack: 8 Damage: 3

Luckily the cold is too much for the centipede that got caught in Torrent's ice storm, so the one that bit Medard is the only one left on the left side of the hall, and Nicolas releases a beam of energy at it, aiming over the crowd of halflings. Attack: 14 Damage: 6

If she can, I’d like her to go from G2 to E6 using dash if needed. Basically I want her be lying in wait right as they come around the corner.
