Thorin is still blocking the stairs. He turns to the others and says:" Here take this rope off my pack and tie it off to something solid and we will make our way out the window too. I will try to hold any that come up the stairs off as long as I can. We need to be quick who knows how long the spells will last."
Banlashan little trick sends the rest of the man scurrying out of the inn and into the streets. The patrons at first dumbfounded burst out laughing after a few seconds.
Mist follows Gorgon out and stops in her tracks as she sees him sprawling down. Thorin's voice brings her back to reality.
Gorgon you are with Tarina. She is still a bit shocked by the fall and what yo put her through. Upstairs at the window and looking down are Mist and Thorin. ( Not sure if you still wanted to get the rope. )
Thorin looks to the others and says: "We best be getting out of here and take Tarina to the captain before those spells wear off." He then turns and heads outside to meet with Gorgon & Tarina.
‘We’d probably best be leaving, and keep one eye over our shoulder for the Captain. I doubt he’ll forgive us the loss of face. We might have to deal with him more firmly next time.’ says Alyseris, unperturbed by the excitement. He follows Banlashan down the rope and onto the street, keeping an eye out for the routed Captain.

(OOC: I wonder if I can use Prestidigitation to untie the rope at the top, once we’re all down?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We need to get to public spaces fast. Most organized criminals won't be deterred by being around civilians, but it will help." Gorgon leads the group to the nearest major road, and then to the North Gate square to meet with Zodge. If Tarina tries to run another way, he will attempt to grapple her and drag her with them. Athletics check: 18
Banlashan looked around anxiously, his paranoia getting the better of him. "Captain Zodge sent us, said you owe him a favor. We need information on the Dead Three and the murders their followers have been committing"
Once everyone is down Alyseris jiggles the rope with a hint of theatricality, collecting it up after it falls to the ground and handing it back to Thorin with a slight smile. Then he directs his attention to what Tarina has to say.
" I know what you are looking for. Do to the bath house several blocks away. There is something strange in that place." She gives you the way to go there
Thorin will say to Tarina: "Thank you for the information and may I suggest you find a new place to gamble. It looks like your "friends" have tracked you to the Elfsong."
To the rest of the party he asks: "Do we need to report back to the captain before we investigate the bath house? Also, Gorgon may have to go back and pay for a window that was broken." He says with a grin.
Badran watches the sailors run out the door and thinks that he must be more intimidating than he thought. He follows them out and heads back around to the window in time to watch the rope fall.

"Thank you Tarina, we'll check it out" Banlashan smiled at Tarina, but then turned and headed to a nearby wall, he leaned against it with one hand and presses his fingers to his forehead. There is an audible groan and anyone watching him can see him take his orb and place it against his forehead. Colors begin to scintillate through the orb as if it were filled with clouds of colored light.
OOC: Will Banlashan need to rest to prepare his additional spell, or roll his Portent for the day now that he has reached level 2?
Alyseris is looking a little wired after the events of the last few minutes, twitchy even. Perhaps Banlashan’s paranoia is catching.
’I’m new to the city. Perhaps someone could recommend an inn where we can introduce ourselves properly, and then I can get some rest before we head to the bath house?’
(Perception check to make sure we’re not followed to wherever we go: 8)
There are many inns in Baldur's Gate and even a few that have a nice homely feel to them. One such is called the Grey Sentinel. A family of halfling own and work in that inn. They bought the ruined inn a few years ago and found a golem in the of grey stone in the cave. The golem stands watch in the common room.
Alyseris looks for an empty table of an appropriate size, and heads over to sit down, where he can see the front door of the inn, beckoning over a member of staff. He gestures vaguely to the others and says 'Can we order some drinks please. I'll have a bottle of local Red, and whatever they'd like. I'll be wanting a room too please, if you have one?'

Banlashan nods, and with a quick bit of work he is at the rope and hurriedly scurrying down it!
OOC: Do I need to make an athletics check or anything to climb down the rope and into the street with Gorgon?

No that s fine.
That s a nice touch. Yes
The pirate captain is nowhere to be seen.
Tarina looks at the others, as they gathered around her, not moving.
"I can't go with you to the Flaming Fists that would bun me in the Guild. What information did Zodge send you to gather ? " She asks looking around.

You are going to need a long rest. For all actually.
The night is still rather young and the bathhouse will be closed for sure.

OOC: So we are assuming we have moved to the Inn then?
Ooc: as you wish. Was just giving some infos and possibility
