Banzo shields his eyes somewhat instinctively and then checks to make sure his tattoo is indeed gone... he breathes a sigh of relief even though it never bothered him as much as if it were his shell. He hopes he can slow down the demon a little while harming it and casts Ray of Frost for:

Damage: 9 cold, and its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of my next turn.

"Feel the sting of frigid cold!"

Tannin, flies and attacks with green flame blade and sneak attack

The iron demon is hit by spell, ice, scimitar and radiant maul almost at once and then a translucent sword as long as a man appears above Yaztromos head and he pushes out with his hands send it smashing into the huge purplish form.

The sword pierces the demon and without a sound the enormous form crumbles into a gigantic pile of foul smelling rust....

Yaztromo collapses against the wall breathing heavily, " Well.......I for one could do with a drink.  Vermithrax! Head up and prepare some sherry."

Tzedaka moves to aid those in need of healing. “You chave accomplished much dis day.  Dee removal of Dee marks is a significant achievement in Dee war against Dee forces of  Dee pit.”

Banzo will assist in getting Yaztromo situated and after the sherry is served comment, "It also looks good to be able to see my arm... free of those foul marks!" and Banzo will hold his arm up in front of him as he inspects it in a new found wonder.

The long suffering corvid familiar walked his unfamiliar humanoid body up the stairs and into the tower as the other followed, the walls of the sanctum beginning to slowly repair themselves after the onslaught.

Yaztromo led the way back up into the tower.

" Well, how are we all feeling?"

Tannin, covers his body with his wings like a bat when he lands again, and follows the group. "Again, someone, tell me the story of how you ended up with those tattoos."

"Dee cheroes vent into a cave and fought a giant crystal demon. After many attempts using hit and run tactics, dey defeated it. Dis angered dee Demon Shakur (She spits to the right). When they left the caves, all dat had fought dee demon ver covered in tattoos dat dey could not remove. Dey vent to visit dee dwarves in Stonebridge but no one der could remove dem. She smiles at the group assembled. "You arrived after dis, Tannin."

(Of note: Tzedaka was not present during the battle with the crystal demon, yet seems to know what happened, even though no one has spoken of it to her)

"I guess I feel relief that I am not marked by a demon but I think we may find ourselves face to face with evil again soon... Demons have very long memories."

Banzo can't help but occasionally touch the area on his arm that no longer bears the tattoo.

Then Zeno purrs and rubs in between Banzo's feet in a figure eight until Banzo reaches down a little and Zeno leaps up into his arms, continuing to purr.

"Aww... look who's feeling better."

"What did these tattoos, doo?"

“I believe Dey allowed Dee group

to be tracked. Chaving Dee scent of a demon on dem is a tremendous insult.

Dis vould explain how Dee minion found us. I also suspect it could make dem more vulnerable.”

"Ah"

(Ooc.  No idea what the tattoos did, but do know from Shakor)

( OOC- The tattoos would also have ensured that had any of the marked died they would have immediately arrived in Shakors custody within The Pit.)

Feeling more himself than he has in ages Banzo gives Zeno an extra snuggle before looking around to see how everyone else appears to be doing.

"Anyone seriously hurt?"

"Banzo, I have expended all of my power. I must rest." the angelic woman says, for some reason, looking more ethereal than normal. "Shakor's (spits left) hold was quite strong."

"I'll take a short rest, when I can and be good, where do we do this?" He thinks for a second "Do you folks, harbor, any other surprises?"
