Garet racking his brains states clearly "Rathgar Opalgrinder was the rightful owner of Pit Breaker, Fingli is in charge of the Crucible and I believe Kraven commands the keep to the West."

( Going to assume that as Garet speaks Dwarven he says this in Dwarven. ;) )
There is a bell-like chime and then the Vault door hisses slightly and begins to move inwards then with a smooth motion swings to the right revealing a smooth metal hallway ending at a metal door.
"Well done." Brocc says with a nod. He steps inside and looks around. Moving to the metal door he sees if it is locked.
The door doesn't seem to have any obvious handles but when Brocc touches it it slides away with a hiss. Behind it there is a small square room with a door in each wall. In the centre of the room is a huge rough humanoid form of ice. It has three arms and each one is stretched out to clasp a metal semi-sphere mounted above each door.
Its rough blocky face declines to regard Brocc but it does not move from its position.
Banzo looks around for any runes that might be inscribed on the doors or even on the large construct, also searching for hidden catches or levers.
Investigation: 22
Banzo does see a small series of numbers carved about half way up the wall next to each door: From left to right they are 987-23, 987-24, 987-25. There do not seem to be any hidden catches or levers; one small part of the door is less frosted, looking at it he notes the same area is situated in the same place on each door.
"Well, it doesn't seem the talkative sort." Brocc says as he looks back to his companions. "Let's try the door with the lowest number and go from there." He keeps his eyes on the elemental creature as he moves towards the first of the doors.
Banzo places his hand on the door which makes a hollow clicking sound and then ratchets up into the roof. The elemental being does not move to stop them. The room within is lit with similar crystals to those seen before, though these are bright white, the room is long and the walls are lined with thousands of metal drawers limned with frost. Each drawer has a name upon it, Banzo cannot read them but Brocc mouths a few: Åbrodd, Åckerbär, Åckergyllen, Åckerpilört.....they appear to be the names of plants.
"Seems to be a storage place for plants." Brocc says as he looks over the drawers. "I wonder if the ice elemental out there is keeping these things from spoiling, keeping them in a deep freeze like this." He would look for anything of interest, casting Detect Magic as a ritual, to see if there is any magic in the chamber, then ready to move on if nothing is found.
"I think you're right Brocc, this place may be used for storage and preservation of the plants but also they seem to be cataloged. To find anything quickly we might need the reference book related to this chamber. It might also tell what use or purpose the plants are for."
Banzo takes one of the plants and feels it texture before sniffing it.
Perception: 12
Then he will try to use these sensory impressions to make an educated guess as to what it might be used for.
Investigation: 16
Regardless of what he learns he will replace the plant back where he got it from, gingerly and carefully. He will then return to the room with the giant elemental.
"Are you alive? Can you help us? What do you know of this place?"
(The above questions are in blue to signify Banzo speaking Aquan to the giant elemental.)
Opening the individual drawers Banzo finds seeds and bulbs rather than adult plants, each drawer is extremely cold and dry inside. His best guess is that this particular specimen is some sort of perennial shrub.
As Banzo speaks Aquan the creature turns slowly to regard him.
Gatet keeping his own counsel whilst the investigations went on and having no knowledge of Aquan could not understand the dialogue but Banzos last question struck a chord with Garet.
His mind returned to his pirate days, he hated slavery in all form but felt all to often he had been complicit in allowing it to continue now he had a chance to redress some of the balance.
"If we can set this entity free than we should , we should all be free to follow our own path."
Brocc shrugs and moves to the next chamber. He figures the others are at least distracting the ice elemental. He will open the next door.
The next room behind the next door seems to be identical though the small labels on the drawers now feature plant names around the middle the dwarven alphabet.
( OOC: I believe you already have all the answers....might just take a little to recall them.)

"Is there something we need to do here to pass?" Brocc asks the ice-being in dwarven.
Zeltheris continues to peer from behind his table, "Does it appear to be safe?"
The elemental being regards Brocc silently but does not respond.

Zeltheris moves up and racks his mind for what he might recognize of the plants listed, looking for anything useful.

" I live. Help? Keep metal cold, task given."
" Task given. Prisoner?"

" Much time. Will go Home when task complete. Here is calm, quiet. "
" Maintain temperature. Released when vault no longer needed. Time irrelevant."

There is a loud crash of metal objects falling somewhere not too far away and a frustrated roaring growl that echoes through the room.......
