Garet stabs both weapons into the Maze Fiend that Herman had previously hit and the creature crumbles into a pile of obsidian and sulphur as Banzo sends a torrent of freezing air at Pelucidis but the enormous Rock Demon does not seem to notice.
Pelucidis seems to become somewhat more energized and some of the visible damage upon its vast body seems to repair itself as it absorbs the material remains of the elemental....though it is certainly still heavily damaged.
Seeing one of the Maze Fiends fall it glowers and begins to sink back into the stone seemingly no longer enraged with the elemental gone.
Shalana drives metal fists in again to the crystalline hide, even as the remaining Maze Fiend rakes at her from behind. Herman attacks again but his weapon is unable to find purchase in the demonic hide.
Broccs heals Zeltheris who gets back to his feet.
Zeltheris crafts an illusion to take root in the demons mind but either its mind is too strangely formed or he's still suffering the after effects of massive crushing injuries but it seems not to take affect.
As Pelucidis sinks out of sight it again summons razor-edged crystals to jut from the ground and walls....
Legendary Action: DC 14 Dexterity Check or 9 magical piercing damage.
Maze Fiend Claws vs Shalana: Attack: 9 Damage: 11
(Everyone gets an AoO on Pelucidis as it sinks into the stone.)

Oh, and yes noted the previous damage on the Maze Fiend from Herman, thats why it switched to Garet...they're basically just piles of spite and volcanic rock so they don't really emote much.).
Garet sees the fiend crumble into dust and the bloodlust that had clouded his vision falls allowing him to see clearly, sothat when the crystalline spikes emerge he is able to deftly roll out of the way and avoid them completely.
He then sees the demon attempt to flee again and aims a hasty strike against its fleeing form.

( Ah, its where DnD setting conceits conflict with FF setting conceits, as the Elemental was already dead the amount of healing was very minimal anyway and already more than accounted for by the AoO so far dished out. So all good.)
( Hmm....not sure how to do this? Other than retroactively roll back the round due to Zeltheris Reaction rewriting Pelucidis action which changes everyone elses........I'll have to ponder a bit more.)

Pelucidis stops before it has fully sunk into the floor and examines the space in front of it with an almost quizzical expression seemingly unable to come to a decision of some sort. Its fury seems to reignite.
Shalana drives metal fists in again to the momentarily stilled crystalline hide, even as the remaining Maze Fiend rakes at her from behind yet again. Herman attacks again but again his weapon is unable to find purchase in the demonic hide.

Zeltheris again uses mockery on the crystalline hulk, and its mind is scoured by both his phantasm and words.
Garet pivots readying himself, as Banzo coats the crystal hide in frost.
Pelucidis stays where it is seemingly puzzled by the elemental which it instinctively knows it has destroyed, but yet persists.
The Maze Fiend grabs for the back of Shalanas head as she staggers from the crystal wound, and Herman readies his blade.
Though wounded, Brocc still manages a solid strike against the demon, his spider less effective.
As Pelucidis remains still it once more summons razor-edged crystals to jut from the ground and walls....
