" Me. Yes, The Brass Flute of the Sleeping Wyrm.......though as I said I have only used it on a wyvern......it should work on a true dragon though I suspect they are a little more resistant to its effects."
" Perhaps if its already wounded or something it would have a better chance of working....."
(My interpretation: A dragon is on the Firetop mountain, the dwarven armies are there as well, engaging it.What we don't know: Was the dragon already in firetop mountain and get released, or did the dragon figure out Zagor is dead and was attracted to the wealth there?)
( Your fairly certain the Dragon was present within Firetop, there were a number of conversations regarding it during your time there.)
"Der are conflicting stories of dee history of Firetop Mountain. One is dat a dragon inhabited dee mountain, was pushed out by dee dwarves, and den came Zagors kin. Another reverses did, dee dwarves mined dee mountain, and dee riches attracted a dragon. In did case, dee dragon was either subdued or in a dormant state but is now freed."
"Are we planning on doing something about that?" Banzo will point off into the distance, towards the mountain and roaring dragon, the noises of battle punctuating his statement.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”

Enwynn nods in agreement, looks towards the dragon and says "One must survive history to write about it. That looks pretty historical to me..."even as her feet begin to change to something faster than elven ones.
The druidess twists and shifts into a heftier equine form, a light chestnut-coloured mare with darker black mane and tail, and hooves the size of banqueting plates. There is a moment of unsteadiness as Enwynn adjusts to four feet on the ground, then the destrier darts after the rest of the party, rapidly gaining speed.
OOC: After careful checking, War Horse is CR 1/2 and Deer are CR 0 (They have a Flee without invoking attacks of opportunity trick that puts their CR up.) so while Enwynn can't turn into a Deer until Level 8, a Warhorse is possible right now. Thank you for the info, dndpro100.
Tannin looks sideways at the heroes rushing onwards, shakes his head, "We fall, together." he says in draconic. then follows flying low to the ground, to stay out of view.
Tannin and Tzedaka sweep forward on wings angelic and leathery, Banzo clings precariously to the back of a horse that was recently an elf and Herman runs effortlessly across the rough ground, slightly behind but almost keeping pace with the equine.
As the group approaches Firetop from the south the scent of burning wood and charred flesh hangs in the air, a miasma of grey smoke hangs about the base of the mountain, faint cries echo from ahead as well as a deep bone shaking thrumming through the rocks themselves.
Charred war and transport wagons are thrown about, their timbers scattered across the burned open ground that was once woodland but now is just open burned stubble......to the right can be seen a mass of vague forms, but smoke haze hangs thickly ahead obscuring almost everything.........
Tzedaka will try to identify the two different Dwarven command units/ tents of the different factions, and figure out what the dragon is doing (Is it defending the mountain or attacking?)
At the moment all seems to be quiet and Tzedaka can see no sign of the fire-drake............trying to peer through the smoke beyond the smashed and tossed wagons she believes she can make out three seperate groups of short squat humanoid figures standing warily in rough formation....the smoke overhead blot out the sky....
"Ennwyn, didn't you once say, you have something, that can put me to sleep?"

Sounds of distant explosions and battle began to filter towards the Heroes....
"Are we planning on doing something about that?" Banzo will point off into the distance, towards the mountain and roaring dragon, the noises of battle punctuating his statement.
"sure, actually I think wwe must also rush!!!"
and he strarts running
Tzedaka follows the brave barbarian Herman into the Frey
Banzo hustles after the pair.

OOC: Anyone need a lift?
ooc: likely the fastest animal is the horse (60 feet of move)

Herman pants after the others and eventually arrives close to them.
Being a human with a normal sight, he cannot make out anything clearly but then he remembers something...the ring!
even if he is not really quite sure how it works, he starts to touch the ring, asking innerly
sooo...where are thou?
The barbarian falls in a state similar to a trance and, even if his eyes are open, he seems he is not really looking at anything
ooc: with the ring of true sight, Herman can cast the spell SCRYING, of course looking for the dragon , who must make a wis save with a +5 bonus.
maybe this action will be useless, as the spell casting takes 10 minutes, still...it is worth a try
Tzedaka relates what she can see to Tannin so he can telepathically tell those on the ground.
Tannin does a flyby within 30ft to relay
