"I'll give you a hand with that." Brocc agrees. He glances to the others. "After we get our new companion his oil, do we want to look into finding transport back to the city?"
"Yes, it is settled," the tiefling agrees with a nod. "I am quite interested in seeing more of this town before we depart, so the smelter's is a fine start."
Brocc would be curiously watching the construct apply the oil, trying to get any ideas of how such mechanical items as the construct has could be applied to his own steel defender.
The companions made their way across to the smelters, carts of silver ore were arrayed outside. Within humans, dwarves and gnomes tended to crushers and bins of raw ore, soda ash and sand.
Huge furnaces made the temperature within truly hellish, though Hatch was unaffected by it.
Asking around they found an elderly dwarf stripped to the waist who was tending huge mechanised hammers.
" Oil? Not a problem....thats a fine piece of work there. Both the spider and the humanoid. Haven't seen better outside of Warpstone."
" Your the ones saw off those bandits? Elves was it? Heres a barrel, on the house."

Zeltheris gives Herman another of his big smiles, "Yes, of course, everyone who's met me remembers me, and I'm always doing quite well. Even better now that I get to write about heroes as they are still making history, rather just another part of it. Come, be a part of their heroic band and I can chronicle your exploits as well!" All the while thinking to himself, I know this guy, I think, I certainly remember the wolf head. What was his name? Oh, well, I'll just make one up for the ballad anyway. Deception: 24
(I'm just assuming they've met before, but don't really know each other well.)
Shalana removes a metal cap from within it's robes and a small container and begins to decant some oil into the inner workings of the construct.
"Much better, I am back to the Maker's default specifications," Shalana speaks, it's limbs seem to be a lot more fluid in movement than before and a lot less grinding and clunking is coming from the insides of Shalana.

Near a smoldering fire, a group of dwarves are huddled drinking wine and sharing stories of recent and past adventures. Thralk is the first of the band of dwarves to see the group approach. Thralk is of medium height with pale skin of a reddish hue hidden behind heavy chain mail covering most of his body. A shield and crossbow are strapped to his back, while a heavy warhammer rests in his belt.
Thralk suddenly interrupts another dwarf as this new group appears within earshot and begins speaking very loudly, almost shouting to the dwarves within several feet of him.
“Reminds me when my squad was ambushed by a band of…” Thralk quickly sizes up this new group again. “…five or six dark elves. Killed most of my squad immediately, and I caught an arrow in the chest.” Thralk pounds his gloved hand into his chest for dramatic effect. “This splendid armor saved me that day, thanks be to Kerellim. Did I mention I slew the rest of the dark elves single handedly? I didn't think so.” Thralk begins making animated hand gestures displaying his glorious combat prowess to the group of dwarves while stealing several glances at the group nearby to ensure they see the display.

"Then it is settled," Shalana says as the construct stands up.

The five of them rose from their table in preparation to walk across to the smelters.

During the performance of the bard, Herman finally recognises his long acquaintance
is it him? oh, yeah, it is really him
And once the song is over, while they are talking about launching in an adventure he gets really interested and goes at their table to join them
Zeltheris, eh? Is that you? I remember hearing you chanting loooong time ago. How are you doing? Quite well it seems,
gesturing at the coins on the table with a smirk.
Then he raises a hand towards the others:
I could but overhear you are on an adventure of some sort. Glad to help and to venture with you, but... I heard you go to CHalice? Is that right?
DESCRIPTION:
Herman is a young male in his late twenties, so it seems, with brown hair and moustache.
He wears some light clothes apart from a wolf pelt whose head he wears like it wa an helmet.
He has broad shoulders and he is muscular looking.
"Shalana agrees. Plenty of Flesh in a city to convert," the janky construct emits.

( Party now has a barrel of mineral oil.)

"Yes, that could have been quite useful when the flying dungeon fell with us in it." Brocc agrees. "Go ahead and wear it."

It was still very early in the day...

Herman smiles and nods, visibly curious
"Sure, why not." Brocc says. "Maybe see if they know of any barges heading back to the city while we are at it."
Zeltheris shrugs, then quickly counts, "Ok, but they can't all join, nothing really good rhymes with -teen that isn't overplayed."
One of the dwarves, apparently with better hearing than the others swings about, " The Boon-Nam is heading downriver at midday."
Brocc moves over to the dwarf that spoke up. "Does the vessel have enough room for the group of us to catch a ride on it?" He asks the dwarf.
