Fen says "The Splendid Order of Armorers, Locksmiths, and Finesmiths... I'm sure I've heard of them before...." and tries to cheekily hide that he is consulting his 'Tourists Guide to WaterDeep' map. Checking his hand drawn notes on the map, Fen sees that he has circled the Metal House of Wonders with a line and the acronym SOALF "Oh yes, I believe they are on the corner of Belnimbra St and Gut Alley, in the Dock Ward. I can also show you the site where the Yawning Portal used to be, as it is just around the corner from there. I might stop by the Citadel of the Arrow on the way if you are happy with that? "
[Fen trying to hide that he is consulting map is more for fun and him being cheeky, rather than for any real gain. He is not trying super-hard to hide this and has a grin as he is holds the map awkwardly on the opposite side of his body to his shopping-trip companions. I think he would roll with disadvantage, so if anyone is watching take the worse of the following as his sleight of handto hide that he is consulting his tourist map:
[Also Levirocks, just checking if the businesses on TrollSkull Alley are still the same as the map (Zephyr Post, Corellon's Crown, Steam and Steel, The Bent Nail etc.)?]
So, if you have a map of trollskull alley, T1 is connected to T2, the 3 buildings between them have been torn down, and formed into one large building for the tavern. Across the north entrance, the building that was T5 was torn down and attached to the 2 buildings to the east of it.
None of the other buildings mentioned in the book were effected, but the abandoned buildings that were around it are filled. (There weren't many abandoned buildings, just a few that are now filled).

[LeviRocks, I looked up a map of Trollskull Alley (link here), as I haven’t played any games set in Waterdeep before. It looks like it is just Bent Nail and Tiger’s Eye that are gone?]

[Iorith, I could be wrong, but I think that there are only two groups that are going out (Hecate, Carlin, Zook and Fen) and then Ramath going out separately. Ventheris and Rinzak retired to their rooms. Definitely cool with Ramath’s trip to be dealt with first, but I’ll also try and figure out route for other group to keep it moving and so we can get to ghost-time sooner IRL time.
Stops planned so far:
Carlin: Splendid Order of Armorers, Locksmiths, and Finesmiths (‘SOALF’).
Hecate: Fen was going to suggest Correlon’s Crown (Trollskull Alley) and/or House of Healing (near Market) for apothecary and Book Wyrm's Treasure (Trollskull Alley - library which includes spellbooks) or The Tower of Order (near-ish SOALF, though that is more magic items and scrolls) for books - PoorTom if you know another place for either, let me know in or out of character, they were the ones I managed to find by scrolling around map.
Fen: Whichever apothecary Hecate wants to go to and the Citadel of the Arrow (on way to SOALF)
Zook: Is there anywhere you want to stop? Apologies if I missed a post from you on where you wanted to go; trying to do this on iPad while also starting work for the day IRL.
For my stops, it is going to (hopefully) be very quick because they are common items. I’m definitely happy not to RP it [‘Fen stops at Citadel of the Arrow and buys 10 arrows] or RP it but keep it brief to stop this dragging on over multiple days out of game ["can I buy x?" "Yes, that’ll be x gp" "thanks"]. Some of the other stops seem like they will be more interesting, so I assume they may require more RPing from characters.]
So, as you exit the tavern, you walk into the "City of Splendors". Many buildings from before the calamitous Battle of the Undermountain were destroyed, but many of them were put back together after being disintegrated, smashed, shaken by earth breaking stomps, or other similar effects. Many, many of these buildings have been restored since then, and many of the people that were slain in the destruction of the city were able to be brought back to life.
The air is bitter as you step onto the street next to Trollskull Alley. Many different people fill the streets, human nobles in fine clothes, dirt covered beggars (typically half-orcs or tiefling), well-dressed peasants, a group of stalwart adventurers, and many other unique peoples of all shapes, colors, sizes, and class.
(There aren't many noticeable changes on the road you step out on besides the ones I've already described for Trollskull Alley. There is a large piece of light gray stone in the middle of Saerdoun Street, about the size of an adult sheep.)
So, there are 2 groups, correct? Which one would like to go first?

(Oh, one quick thing that doesn't really need to be rped out since it is contained in his room, before Rinzak lays down to sleep he will ritual cast Alarm so that if anyone other than him enters the room it will silently alert and wake him up.)
[Levirocks: It seems like Ramath is going out solo; then as a group Hecate, Carlin, Zook and Fen are going. Do you want us to RP the whole shopping trip? As I wrote above, my things are quick & common and I don’t want to cause the game to drag in real time. What was posted so far above was:]
After getting directs from Fen, Hecate heads over to Correlon's Crown. She is looking for medicinal herbs that have some healing properties.
Fen joins Hecate with the view to buy 10gp worth of herbs, incense and charcoal.
So, you're walking down Saerdoun Street, heading south west towards the center of the city, where the Markets are, correct?
Once you turn onto the main streets of Waterdeep, you see a few coaches of different shapes and sizes traveling down the road, functioning similar to taxis and buses in modern days.

Hecate is looking for apothecaries and shops that carry old books.
((This is going to be a bit chaotic with everyone spreading out. It’s understandable if you do one group at a time.))
Ramath is going to the House of Song.

Hecate hails a coach and directs it to Correlon’s Crown.
“There’s room for two.” She offers to Fen.
(Sorry if I missed it, but how much gold did we each end up with?)
