Carlin greets Fen, "Hey, how have you been doing?"

After his rest Rinzak strides down the stairs, nodding to the others "Good, you are still here. I am glad some of the prejudices I have heard of this plane have been somewhat further disproved." Studying over each of these people he had recently met, his eyes lingering a bit on the Firbolg for reasons known only to himself.

(Aye I'm good to go. Also quick question to Iorith since it would be something obvious seeing it in person, Rinzak is 6' 11" is Ramath just a bit taller or noticeably taller? Assuming when he is standing he isn't slouching that is.)

"What prejudice?" Carlin asks

"Unreliability. Though I suppose his experiences were a bit colored by having lost a deal to a dweller of the prime material who decided to trade with a Githyanki instead." The bean pole of a Gith gently ran his fingers along his mustache and beard to ensure it was still perfectly groomed before glancing to the others. "I trust we can begin setting up for our goal then?"

Fen says "yes, I’m raring for action."

Carlin nods in agreement, "Ya, it sounds like fun!"

Ventheris will make sure his gear is settled, “Yes, lets go see this ghost. On the way, what do we plan to do when we find it?”

Fen says "I think the plan was to watch and possibly speak to it, though obviously if it attacks us, we will defend ourselves." 

[OOC: I can't remember who came up with the plan, but I think Erdan asked us not to attack it, suggesting it might hold greater secrets. My memory is fuzzy though and I have to get back to cooking dinner, so can't go back and check.]

(Yes, it was Erdan who said that you'd meet him.)

"Let's try to avoid attacking, or defending, anything as much as possible," Carlin says.

"Perhaps if one of you has a bit more of a gift of gab you could elect yourself to speak? Incorporeal creatures are not my forte whether diplomatically or handling magically." Rinzak said glancing at the others, rolling his neck as he sighs out "Though I know magics which can harm them, I prefer using my Dunamancy whenever possible."

"I've never even seen a ghost before," Carlin says.

Ventheris will shrug, "They simply are. If you would like, when we meet it, I can speak for us. But let me know now what you'd like to learn."

Fen offers "I have been told that I have somewhat of a silver tongue, though I plan to stay hidden for as long as possible and just observe the ghost to begin with. I believe staying silent can lead to information that would be otherwise hard to find." 

Fen looks around for Erdan to see if he is close by.

[Just in case anyone is wondering why Fen's personality changed a little and he is more confident and less skittish, it is because of the fateful moment re-roll (thanks again LeviRocks, this is what I'd imagined Fen being like)]

"I don't have much in the way of a silver tongue," Carlin says, "but observing first sounds like the best idea."

And just about now, you hear footsteps coming down the stairs to your right. You see Erdan walking down the stairs, but then he suddenly disappears into shadow, and appears right infront of your table, teleporting in front of you. 

"Hello," He says, "Are you ready to meet Lif?"

"Lif? You've named your ghost?" Carlin asks.

Erdan smiles faintly (which is a lot coming from a shadar-kai), "I didn't name him, it's his name. Also, he's not a ghost, technically he's a poltergeist."

Fen replies ”Yes, I think we are very keen to meet Lif. You seem to know the poltergeist quite well, can you tell us about it while we are walking to meet it?”

[On the walk, if there are shadows in the hallway or room we are going into, Fen will try to blend into them 18 ]

(Would we be aware of the difference between a ghost and poltergeist?)
